| 2 | [Discrimination] You know how black people are 4 times as likely to be jailed for drug offenses than white people? Well, men are 13 times as likely to be jailed for drug offenses than women. These numbers are incarcerated over total instead of incarcerated over charged. Your whole study is kind of irrelevant, because by the eye test more men do generally use and sell drugs. Look at numbers of drug related hospitalizations and I'm willing to bet the percentage gap would be smaller. I'm interested in drug sentencing for men and women charged being compared. | /r/MensRights | 21/10/14 08:53 PM |
| -4 | Obama just repeated his 77 cent figure at the State of the UnionIt would just be awesome if someone would do that study so we don't have to sit and postulate. Based on the statistics we have now it appears to be a slightly systemic discrimination against women. | /r/MensRights | 29/01/14 03:54 AM |
| -7 | Obama just repeated his 77 cent figure at the State of the UnionThe fact that an overwhelming majority of jobs have the woman earning approximately 4 cents less implies that there are still gender based factors though right? | /r/MensRights | 29/01/14 03:19 AM |
