Men don't hate women in general. If they did, they wouldn't try so hard to date, find love, or build a life with a partner. There are exceptions on both sides. Even people who say they hate women usually don't. More often, they're hurt, lonely, or tired of being ignored, and those words are just a way of expressing that pain.

First, you can not make men/women lower their standards (even if they are super high and out their leagues) Second, it just shows you have no self respect and shamelessly want a woman that has to pretend she likes you I hope never any woman choose me out of desperate or had to settle with me because of her situation. I deserve a woman that loves me for me. Being in a relationship with fake love is just another kind of loneliness.

Oh my God. Imagine spending 20-30 years in a marriage built on lies, with no real love. Your youth, time, emotions, and trust are all destroyed. And in the end, the only "repayment" you get is money. Some things can never truly be compensated by money.

"Women's tone" is such a convenient excuse. "Kill all men" is somehow harmless because it's women saying it, but men are expected to have every word interpreted literally and in the worst possible way. If anything, it's often the opposite. A lot of women openly resent men and want payback for what misogynistic men of the past did, but they wrap it in "jokes," "venting," or "women's tone" because saying it outright would damage their image. That kind of double standard is exactly what keeps the g…

There is. You just refuse to acknowledge it. Whether you explicitly wrote the word "generalization" is irrelevant. Your post either generalizes or it doesn't, and readers can judge that by reading it, not by whether you used a particular word.

Plus, I don’t blame you for bad experiences, and I do empathize with women hurt by shitty men, as long as I’m not treated like one of them. Men have bad experiences too, but when we talk about them, we’re told to deal with it ourselves and stop generalizing. I don’t mind empathy. I mind the double standard.

I agree with the education part (not necessarily the same field/area), but not the career part. Both being doctors, nurses, engineers, etc. isn’t necessary, and honestly could even be a bad match. They should complement each other, not be copy-paste versions of each other. Similar hobbies, values, and lifestyle matter more than having the same job or exact same goals.

Personality matters. Achievements? Not that much. Your accomplishments are great, but they're your accomplishments. Most men don't choose partners based on their resume. If you have achievements, cool. If you don't, that's fine too. Personality and compatibility are what matter to most men. That's generally different from what many women look for (a successful man).

I understand your point, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with aiming for a fair division of chores. I just think a relationship should still feel flexible and enjoyable, not like a contract with constant scorekeeping. I used to think more strictly about 50/50 too, but over time I started feeling that too many rules can make a relationship less warm and spontaneous. Personally, if I ended up doing 80% for a while because my partner was genuinely tired or overwhelmed, I wouldn’t mind. Wha…

I don’t think a caring partner would ever pressure someone like that. I was only curious because I see this topic come up a lot. Sometimes it sounds like women assume men want sex nonstop and can actually do that, but honestly, plenty of us would probably struggle to keep up with a woman who has a higher sex drive. Hopefully that problem never finds me.

What’s wrong with wanting sex? Not whenever I want, but it should be regular. The way some women describe it makes it sound like they’re being forced. If you genuinely like someone and you’re not asexual, don’t you also enjoy and want sex with them? Again not all the time.

Women can usually tell when a guy is lying. Whether they call it out depends on how much they like or are attracted to him. Men do the same thing too. Sometimes we would rather believe a sweet lie than face a bitter truth. It’s less about gender and more about the kind of lie being told, how much you hate that type of dishonesty, and how willing you are to overlook it because you like the person. Everyone has different boundaries, so we can’t really generalize.

The saddest part is that, I am wasting my life without even trying. Losing is much better than not trying. I'll try to rebuild the confidence. And not be awkward. Still the most important thing here is: Persistence, patience, and not taking bad consequences to heart. I lack so much in last one. It's because of my inferiority complex. I want to be free of hatred and anxiety.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 02:15 PM
1

Yeah, your example sounds completely normal. I just don’t think setting those boundaries is equally easy for someone who lacks social skills or is trying to rebuild their confidence and needs some support from others first. So maybe it depends on the person. Though maybe I’m also using that as a justification not to try (I do that sometimes without realizing it).

Maybe you’re right that I haven’t actually developed a public persona and have mostly been doing whatever I think people expect from me. But I also think this works more easily when someone’s natural personality is already pleasant, socially comfortable, or not too emotionally taxing for others. I don’t enjoy being around people wh…

I mean, I don’t know... maybe it’s because I might have social anxiety, but when I put on that public persona and try to make myself more likable, I feel pressured. You try to fit in, agree with people, say things like “Yeah, that’s good,” and present yourself as someone who is supportive and always sees the positive side even when that isn’t really who you are. It feels like you can’t use your actual personality, so you have to replace parts of yourself with something more socially acceptable. …

Ngl, I don’t know which one is better: being fake and likable, or being yourself, though that also raises the question of how much of your personality is actually authentic and how much has been shaped by others, and then either being liked or not (most likely not).

It's based on observation. A lot of men have followed women's dating advice and reported poor results. That doesn't mean women are lying intentionally, but it does suggest people aren't always fully aware of what actually drives their attraction. + since everyone is different, it's hard to generalize what all women want anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 12:41 PM
5

I agree with you. But if men shouldn't blindly trust "salesmen," then why don't women take some accountability for the advice they've been giving? Men followed that advice for years, and many found it didn't match reality. If the advice doesn't work, or isn't communicated clearly, shouldn't there be some responsibility for that too?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 12:37 PM

Women are often not fully honest with themselves about their own feelings and desires. So how exactly are men supposed to take everything women say at face value? On top of that, every woman is different, different personalities, different upbringings, different emotional patterns, and different ways of communicating. What one woman says she wants can directly contradict what another one says. That’s why simply “listening to women” frequently just means shaping your behavior to please whichever …

It is herd mentality because the argument is basically “some scientists said it, so now everyone who uses AI is lazy and stupid.” SCIENTISTS CAN BE WRONG TOO. Studies can be limited. Do you think this kind of testing is valid before marriage for a woman who wants to know whether a man can protect and support her when needed? That’s a bit sad, honestly. But outside of random cold approaches, what if you meet someone who genuinely catches your attention in an ordinary place, like a grocery store? If you’re respectful and honest about your intentions, do you think it can still go well? Especially when you might never see that person again (Regardless of your social skills)

That’s actually smart. Small talk is probably easier when there’s nothing at stake. Thank you :)

Yeah, I’ve used those pre-made phrases a few times and got cooked by girls 😭 Honestly, being able to come up quickly with something that fits the moment is a really useful skill, not just for dating, but for life in general.

Well, I’m not one of those many. I’d probably back off. But maybe something about you makes those men feel it’s worth trying, even after those signals.

"If she screamed at you to leave her alone" This is a really scary outcome 😬 Other things, yeah it worth it if her looks and style is really my type. I mean what can I do beside trial and error. At least it shows my courage.

Seems reasonable

Well, if the girl is really your type, it worth it. Oh wait... My bad, the post says "random women"

yeah, high risk high reward

I mean shouldn't I do some eye contacting and giving a signal before approaching 🤔

I know there are a lot of women who may get really uncomfortable with these kinds of approaches. But my honest answer is that I hate to be hated for an approach

It always sucks for me to find a good opener that's not gonna make the situation awkward. Any tips?

Lady, How do we know if a woman does like being approached or not 😮‍💨 Please ladies give direct signals so we don't approach you. We also don't want to be seen as a creep guy
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/26 12:36 AM

Then where we should approach women? List the places and if possible the reason

The only correct part of this post is that only radicals make the changes occur.

But getting a lot of no is so destructive and the process of flirting and chasing become too tiresome and humiliating. I mean it looks like you are too desperate to find someone and on the other hand feels like you are like a creep. They say don't take it siriesly and learn the process but how. Being rejected alot kills motivation. If i was a teen boy i wouldn't see it humiliating but for an adult man it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/26 03:48 AM

Because it is. We just lie to ourselves and accept it as a side damage.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/26 03:39 AM

It feels like you are a creep stalker. It's humiliating for those who don't have the skill. Skill issue. I mean skill also has a role in this. The less skill the more humiliating this chasing gonna be for you

You are full of confidence and I respect that. I don't have that confidence. Tbh i really want to become someone like you. Dating is really tiring and uncomfortable for me on the other side i don't want to be a lonely man. At least i want my loneliness be a choice. Maybe that's because of me overthinking alot. I really want to enjoy life and don't take anything siriesly. I mean at least most of the things. Being able to laugh genuinely a lot and not fake it which it is the case for me is one of …
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/26 03:27 AM

Calm down, woman. Why are you misinterpreting me? As I said, y’all are overusing certain words and phrases to the point that they’ve lost their meaning. “Incel” this, “Misogyny” that. Yes, people like that exist, but this post had nothing to do with them. Shaming people for preferences is wrong. If you defend it when it targets men, then you are part of the problem.

So you are not gonna sacrifice some of your pride into relationship? Men do it all the time though. Seems like you are suggesting we put our pride first
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 11:11 AM

You’re saying this, but there’s no way you’d be okay with a man who spends a huge amount of money and attention on someone before you, and then doesn’t do the same or at least something similar for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 01:00 AM

The OP is clearly talks about why men preferences is shamed by society and media and everyone is silent about it. You are talking like we are in a war or something. Everyone has preferences no matter how loser or successful they are. If men preferences is trashing women then it is correct for the other way around too
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 12:55 AM

Do not shame men for their preferences then. Y'all overusing some words and phrases for shaming men when they tell their preferences

No, it doesn't make sense. And it would be uncomfortable for you if he cherished another woman in the past more than his wife or courent partner. That being said painful and super disgusting sex acts (that you might tried only once before and you figured out it is not bearable for you) are not justifiable in this case. But other sex acts that might hurt your pride or etc and those that are not enjoyable and are boring should be done. If not then you are not attracted to your partner enough
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 10:31 PM

For one person yep, but if it was more than one, then it is not logical at all.

If it's painful for you you should not do it and you should tell your partner about it too. But if it's not painful but rather it's not enjoyable or it's boring if you really love your partner and you are attracted to him you will do it.
