Best advice on this was from a college professor (a woman) who I worked with obv on campus, as well as off campus with her family. She told me you have to “get it out”. You have to feel your feelings, because they’re valid, and you need to grieve. And if that means sitting on your kitchen floor, eating Ben and Jerry’s at 2 am, crying... then that’s what you do, until it goes away. And honestly? I follow that advice to a fault now. And people wonder how I “get over things” so quickly. “I empty it…

Exactly. I understand they are all male names, but we have to start somewhere!

Good advice, thank you! I think I’m going to choose an older name from my family. 🥰

Thank you so much! She immigrated on her own to America, by herself, as a teenager, and raised 11 children. Her last name means freedom in her native language. I think it’s fitting. 🥰

I cut men off the second I get a whiff of anything low value. I save myself the headache. And it’s all thanks to the FDS mindset. Before I would give the benefit of the doubt to men, and not notice that the overwhelming majority didn’t deserve it. I don’t waste my time anymore. And I’m HAPPY.

Correct! Dumped a man that I was almost engaged to because he couldn’t stop drinking. Best decision I ever made. Now I’m in grad school, and bought my own house, and have a brand new car in the driveway. All they do is hold us back...

“I’m going to tell you where I was the gentleman at...” Uhhhhh. Brah. A lion doesn’t have to tell you it’s a lion. You’re obviously not a gentleman if you’re arguing over taking a woman out, and paying for 20 dollars worth of food. Wow.

Aaaaayyyyyyeeeeee!!!! THANK YOUUU!!! Can’t tell you how many guys I dated that weren’t down to do a single thing around the house. Watching me stressing out going to school full time, work part time, come how and do it all. Wtf??

My last dude was repulsed by my dog. And I get it to a degree... she’s slobbery. But he just didn’t want to be near her AT ALL. And then one day he cane over in a “bad mood” and kicked her. I was like, oh no... it’s over. Bye bye.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
