I was also initially seeing Robin’s point-of-view, as a paying customer. HOWEVER... It sounds like Robin has had similar problems at the other salons, as well as the bank. The guy at the counter was apologizing profusely. Obviously he was trying to deescalate while that man threw a tantrum and destroyed their merchandise. No one can help it that everything in their brain tells them to contextualize the voice, face, body, and movement as male.
