Being against the activism and being against the people themselves is different, just like being against female activism (feminism) and being against women is different. There are genuinely absurd things that come out of the activism. Things like Cali banning words containing the word man, things like making 4 year olds state their pronouns in the UK, things like saying you’re a bigot if you don’t date a trans person, etc.

My point regarding Trudeau is the fact that he is discriminatory towards men, and that it wouldn’t be surprising for someone in my country to believe leftwing people are anti men simply by looking at his federal government. I’m not saying it’s a fair assumption, what I’m saying is there’s one group that does discriminate and one that does not.

In no manner are the majority of people on r/MensRights anti-LGBT. In the megathread on that subreddit, it puts out points of problems that gay men face, quite specifically that gay men are the main targets of homphobia. I have never seen anti-LGBT things on the subreddit, and since I've never seen an anti-women comment/post that wasn't downvoted, I highly doubt that the anti-LGBT thing would get away with it.

I have been taught and will always believe in equal rights and equal opportunities for all genders, ethnicities and sexual preferences. Inherent bias does not stop me from doing so, and has not stopped others from doing so in the past.

I'd still argue the point, in that the left wing has been in place over a hundred years now but the anti-male concept is relatively new, and doesn't particularly fit in with the stated goals of the left of equality between the sexes. See here's the thing. I wouldn't call myself a "mens rights" activist. I would call myself an advocate for equal rights and equal opportunity. I don't see why we need to have certain individuals advocate for one's equal rights, and another group of individuals advocate for another.

While I disagree with Oblong that left-wing people are unable to think without wokism, the subreddit you linked does seem to take it's fair share. For example I remember going there a while back and seeing a lot of people posting that the problems males face is due to none other than males themselves, which is a load of bullshit. Seeing woke stuff on that sub like talking about the "patriarchy" and "toxic masculinity" without any nuance just sounded like 3rd wave feminists with extra steps.

I have yet to see hate be upvoted on this sub. Even then, 99% of all posts on this sub aren't "hate". Hate is something like generalizing all women as inherently evil or bad, not being fed up that women quite often will expect you to pay for a date while also demanding equal pay.

The act of having sexual relations with someone who does not consent, anywhere from intoxication to a verbal no. I also think that in the case of two heavily intoxicated people having sex, if they both “”agreed”” to it while intoxicated then it’s not rape. But if both were intoxicated but one said no and it happened anyway, then you could consider it rape.
