welcome to the American family court system, my friend. Never ever pay anything unless you're ordered to. What's compelling you to pay her attorney ? Is there a court order ?

whatever you do do not move out of the marital home. Let her do that you moving out of the marital home will cause you to have an uphill battle in asserting your parental rights that said staying in the marital Home does have major risks. Set up cameras everywhere so she doesn’t have any opening to fraudulently get you thrown out of the house under a protective order record all interactions when I say all I mean all have the cameras recording 24 seven.

Fyi: By filing first, the father can request temporary orders that include a provision prohibiting either parent from removing the child from SC without court permission. Such orders are common during pending divorce or custody cases to maintain the status quo. • If no custody order exists and the wife moves to CA with the child without permission, this could be considered parental kidnapping under SC law (S.C. Hit the gym, plan a trip somewhere new, dive into hobbies, or just take time to rediscover what makes you happy. Time will heal, even if it feels slow. You’ve got this—keep moving forward, and better days are coming.

I’m that one you idiot. 7 year legal battle and I got everything taken away from me even after maintaining the family residence and continuing to pay for the mortgage even after I moved out. All it took was for her to make a false allegation and I lose everything - kids, home, rights - everything.
