Which laws were ‘eviscerated’? What were the consolidations? How much higher were prices because of these alleged things? More importantly: Why aren’t these things better explanations: https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/FYFSD https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/WM2NS

LOL. Companies got greedier? That’s your explanation? Pay no attention to the money supply? This is not the first time in history a country has issued too much debt, attempted to monetize it, and blown out the currency. Momentary fluctuations between deflation and inflation are irrelevant: The theme is inflation and we will continue to inflate until the debt loads are serviceable. That’s a long way from here. No, it really, really isn’t different this time.

Inflation isn't a problem. lol. The sky is green. Up is down. 20% yoy food inflation is fine. China treading water is terrible for the United States - they manufacture half our shit. Read a book.

today this is no longer true No. The absurd consumption outcomes enjoyed in post WW2 Anerica are an aberration. We were a reserve currency issuing country (cheap capital), blessed with a baby boom (cheap labor). Both of those things are passing away. When they do, American women will realize what the overwhelming majority of women have always known: they need men to survive. Decadent Babylon fell. Decadent Rome fell. Decadent America has already fallen once (1929). It isn’t different this time.

If you want to appeal to a universal, timeless average, then the average American man is far above average: He is much taller than average. Much richer than average. Much better read than average. He will live much longer than average. He is only below average in the singular dimension of obesity.

Celebrities marry for different reasons (marketing) than gen pop. It’s more akin to the political marriages of yore than what normal people do; the Logan Paul controversy is currently making him money. Also, many celebrities get ‘married’ knowing full well they will cheat and be cheated on.

Religion literally means ‘life under binding’. As in ‘under holy orders’. TRP has nothing to do with living a holy - morally good - life. It says the world is a shit hole, but you may as well understand how to get sex while you’re here. Feminism is all about right and wrong. A twisted view of morality, sure, but it makes claims to righteousness nonetheless.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/23 10:57 PM

Do you think feminism is the most just way analyzing the world? Do you think feminism protects women from oppression by men? Is not oppression evil?

Feminism isn’t a religion, it is JUSTICE incarnate and it will SAVE us from EVIL men. … religion.

That’s not what hypergamy means. Hypergamy refers to marrying up in terms of socioeconomic status. It isn’t possible for both genders to be hypergamous; for women to move up on average, men must go down on average. Thank you for the 1 + 1 = 3 reply.

People love to pound on young men, telling them they need to do this or that thing to get a woman and they’re being Peter Pans if they don’t. Bs. Frankly, only an idiot man would look at our modern decadence and conclude he needs to ‘step it up’ to get with women. We’re in a dying culture (just look at the birth rate) and there’s n…

No. At best, we’re a bunch of people obsessively repeating obviously true things. Women are hypergamous and most are not as sweet as you would like them to be. Yeah, and 1 + 1 = 2. So what? But when the sub is bad, you get to read feminist think pieces about how, maybe, just maybe, 1 + 1 = 3 now because we are living in a new society and don’t need boring old concepts like math.

Agree to some degree with all of it, but the most important truth about modern women - the one that leads to the things you describe - is this: Women are delusional (supremely overconfident) about the relationship, marriage and consumption outcomes they are likely to receive.

Life expectancy. The women receive payments longer and get enhanced pay in case of marriage. Much larger lifetime payout to women. Killing the babies is what we do now, lol. And men buy lots of things women don’t buy too… why should I care about tampon expenditure!? Men pay an overwhelming majority of Income, OSDAI and Cap gains taxes; it’s not even close. Women, however, are the primary beneficiaries of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, etc. The existence of married couples on welfare does not mean that I have should have to pay for it. I’ve got no problem with Chad’s paying for their children. They aren’t going to, though. Even if we were willing to force them, they often aren’t the kind of men who can support a mother a child. /r/PurplePillDebate06/09/23 08:12 PM

That’s a limited reading of ‘welfare’. Social security, Medicare, Medicaid, TANF, SNAP, Section 8 and a million other programs … all welfare aimed at women and paid for by men who aren’t getting fucked by them.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/23 08:04 PM
1

There nothing wrong with hypergamy. There’s something wrong with compressing hypergamy into a single dimension - looks - by creating a welfare state. Women used to think of ‘best’ as a compound word: The way the man looked, how much he provided and the variance of that provision all factored into who was Mr. Right. Now, the state taxes the shit out of men and uses the money to pay women to not work! All that’s left is how men look, which leaves most men in a hopeless situation.

Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid all have larger net payouts to women via higher life expectancy and lower average OASDI contributions. Earned Income Tax credits are also primarily enjoyed by women. Title 9 prevents discrimination against women in college admissions, but not against men - that’s a welfare transfer. It’s the state’s fault (voter’s fault). Women think they “don’t need no man” because of all the government programs that promise to take care of them. That extends to “don’t need no children”. Jokes on the women though, because the government can’t make good on those promises if men stop working and the birth rate falls off a cliff (what’s happening now).

co·er·cion /kōˈərSH(ə)n,kōˈərZH(ə)n/ noun: the practice of persuading someone to do something by using force or threats. Demanding money under threat of imprisonment and violence isn’t coercive? It’s not like the money is being used to pay for public goods like roads, bridges, etc. it’s going straight into the pocket of private citizens.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/23 11:02 PM

Lying is deceptive. It isn’t ‘coercive’ though. Coercion is when you use force to get your way at someone else’s expense. You know, like taxing random men and giving their money to single moms (women who think they are too good for those same men) in exchange for votes - cucking men with the power of government. Now that’s coercive.

Men pay the majority of Income, OASDI taxes. Women receive most of the benefits. Historically, men would bust their asses and exchange resources for sex through marriage. Now, women use the welfare state (entitlements are modern welfare) to take those resources from men by force. No need to trade when you can steal. Most of these ‘independent’ women would be homeless and destitute without the menagerie of social programs they voted in at men’s expense.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/23 06:18 PM
3

SNAP and TANF may be drops in the bucket. But entitlement spending - the vast majority of which goes to women - is massive. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, EITC … all of it pays out more to women than men on average via higher life expectancy and lower lifetime earnings (taxes) for women on average. The ultimate effect is taking money from men and paying women to not marry those men. The state becomes the woman’s protector, retirement plan and insurance policy. All at men’s expense. Some wo…

You can’t ignore them. They use the state to take your stuff, then turn around and say they’re independent women who don’t need no man. All these chicks are married to the state. TL;DR: Women hate being approached because dense men often make approaches seem like a crazy beggar forcing themselves upon you and demanding money through all sorts of shady methods. You’re acting like men are annoying beggars that bother women. As in, the women have something the men want and men, broadly speaking, have nothing women want. That’s not true. That’s all well and good, but your post supposes that women would be happy to quietly divorce themselves from these ‘beggar’ men and live independently. That’s not the case. Women have been employing political power to get consumption outcomes over men since the 60s: Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Title 9, Preferential Hiring, etc. Men are not ‘beggars’ of women, desperate for sex. Women have used state power to take from men what men used to exchange for sex.

You aren’t listening. Which is fine, but then don’t post in a forum, soliciting opinions you won’t consider. Men hate dating apps, but they are the only game left in town. Women’s standards have gotten so high that men must play a numbers game to have any chance with even average women - the probability that a woman will reject you for superficial reasons is very high because of the apps. It will remain this way whether you use the apps or not. There is simply no escaping the effects of the apps…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/23 06:17 PM
5

Getting off the apps doesn’t solve the problem. Women get on apps at some point or another and learn their “value” is equivalent to the hottest men - hot men will swipe right on average women on apps. Even if the girl gets off the apps, she will remember her “value” and refuse to interact with men who are less hot than her Tinder flings. Average men are competing with the illusion of Fabio on apps, whether they use apps or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/23 05:51 PM

Irrelevant. The expectations women obtain on apps (I can get attention from very attractive men) persist in the real world. Even if apps are dominated by men, real life dating is dominated by women who have used apps at one point.

I’ve only had success with one argument and, even then, it can only work with women, not simps: No woman has ever been tricked into raising children that aren’t hers. Therefore, men have a stronger taste against sexual impropriety than women - ancient men who didn’t watch out for potential paternity issues died off. Women are not more likely to be discriminated against in the workplace … in fact the federal government and most major corporations have hiring policies that explicitly favor women. But this is all beside the point anyway: Who cares about who has it worse? We’re arguing about why men feel what they feel about women and whether or not those feelings are justified.
