Hmmm interesting.. I tried stoicism and started not caring about negative situations. Previously, negative situations would make me more motivated. Now I'm way too complacent and satisfied.

Ah, its because of primitive male psychology. Back in the hunting days, men used to hunt for food and women would stay home and take care of kids (because men "had more strength" to fight with animals). So yea, men are wired to like the chase/ hunt and when they get an animal (or women in this case), they feel like they've won a prize "Actually liking someone" is a game of neurochemicals that make us feel good lol.. True love doesnt exist, its just about the chemical reactions that make us feel …

Thank you!! Hmmm I'm not sure about basing self worth on being a "good" person - in the past I defined my worth on being smart and so when I felt bad about myself, I worked harder to achieve something. But I think you shouldn't have to work hard and achieve something to make yourself feel good (though it definitely does make you feel good). I feel like self worth should not be reliant on any attribute if that makes sense

However I've come to learn its not strategic. It is difficult to always be on guard with men. I've found its not all men, with some men I can speak openly and comfortably if they are carefree. With the guy this post was written in mind with, he was kinda judgemental and I always felt like I had to prove myself to him but didn't lis…

This mindset is turning my into a pickmeisha and I wanted some help. So I have this dream that I'll start a business with my soulmate and because of that, I feel like I'm 1) holding myself and depending on a business-minded guy 2) Becoming desperate for a certain business-minded guy I've tried convincing myself to be independent and not depend on a guy but the truth is no one is self made and everyone has some help in their success (whether its a business investor etc). How can I stop limiting m…

Thanks so much for sharing! I'm wondering the thought process about acting dumb instead of pointing out guys' hypocrisy? Not just in this situation, but in general, why is it bad to call out guys' hypocrisy I guess because it hurts their ego and guys have very fragile egos but I'm not sure how else to do it, is acting dumb every time a valid approach?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
