This is so incredibly messed up. He was having inappropriate contact with her for a long time before he escalated. She was younger and was targeted from a younger age and it's honestly weird if a person knew someone as a child and dates them as an adult. I mean it's not illegal but it's definitely weird. No. A thousand times no. Both of them took advantage of younger people but the fact that he had been circling this for some time makes it far worse. Grooming is a real thing and a 50 plus year old man with a 15 year old girl was building her up to this over time.

Yeah and the post itself is the top post in the sub, which pretty much shows where the attention goes. Information is missing is a nice way of saying spreading deliberate falsehoods to attempt to push a narrative. That's the part where I said what she did was incredibly wrong and should be punished but this entire graphic is designed to mislead people by equating these two as equal offenders when it's clearly not even a little bit true. It's a false equivalency. The two crimes they committed arent even in the same league of depravity. Sexually grooming a girl who is 12 years old over years before you start fucking her is a god damn world away from a 23 year old having sex with a 16 year old. Yeah but I wouldn't consider myself a great proponent of feminism, rather someone who is generally concerned with this victim complex you guys seem to develop. I look at your very subreddit and a lot of the articles are targeting women (either specific or in general) and some of the upvoted comments are honestly pretty disgusting.

So if I may ask, your answer then becomes to become a movement to tear down women rather than build up men? Even if I were to accept feminism as an ideology I disagree with, it wouldn't make your movement any better. You're living in a world where you believe feminism is in the same vein as the KKK, I dont think that's reality for most people.

Ok feminism and the KKK arent analogous either despite the fact that some feminists are crazy. Feminism wasnt created so women could threaten and destroy men, the KKK only existed to intimidate blacks Catholics and jews. Mens rights is mostly a sub for people with a victim complex.

And yes, this sub is more focused on calling out women they dont like than actually addressing issues that may be facing men. I'm not going to say men dont have issues that need to be resolved and that feminism is not going to resolve them. This sub however is more about hating women and ragging on 'feminism' than actually helping men. I wish there was a mens rights movement that was actually about helping men, but this isnt it.

Nice guy - someone who pretends to be 'nice' in order to get something from a woman, namely sex. When they do not get what they want, they quickly shift into verbal abuse, thus outing themselves as a not very nice person. This often comes with themselves thinking they are nice guys and that girls do not value kindness.

I'm saying yes if you want a platform that meets your exhausting standards, then make it yourself. Its their business and if they want to make it a leftist utopia of thought then they're under no ethical requirement to entertain any conservative thought, though it would be hypocritical to then say they're big proponents of free speech. Just because they're the market leader doesn't give them the obligation to entertain any opinion they dont like. There's no fairness doctrine in social media.
