First, you were over dressed which is plus. Younger women like older men who know what they are doing with their lives, and because of your clothing you probably came off as successful. Second, a males demeanor says a lot. Your state of mind was confident and easy going, every hot girl wants to try to get the guy that does not seem like he wants her. They are used to getting whoever they want, so they go people that they have to work for. Glad that your night turned out so well!

But in the end you didn't actually pick up either of the girls...

Why do you want a long-distance relationship or a one night stand? Those two are huge opposites, in one you dont get constant sex and in the other that's all its about.

She hooked up with you and is still going on dates with you, she has interest in you. Just keep on going in dates and let her get to know you.

I would totally understand if my friend picked up a girl and would rather go back with her, just give your friends a $20 and ask them to take a cab home.

Are you actually interested in her or is it because she was so flirty with you that you decided to ask her out on a date?

I'm sorry, but I think it is something that only Females can get away with. I know that if a guy who I barely knew but was facebook friends with me sent me that I wouldn't reply. You could do something like that to people you were once close friends with though!

Haha, that is what everybody who posts in this subreddit already does...

If you were moving through a crowd it probably seemed like you were going just for them (which you were), the blonde had a defense up and you just triggered her alarm. Next time try going to the bar and staying next to the girls without saying anything for a bit, and then starting the conversation. They will be more used to your presence and will make everything seem more natural.

What do you propose we do?

I know that when I meet a guy at a coffee shop or bar I am more likely to give them my number.

You could just trying going to places that are more low key, it is definitely easier to meet people in bars compared to clubs.

Well, without the dog she might not have came over at all. I think he was definitely more of a help.

I am friends with a guy in a frat and he invited me over saying they were going to have a lot of people over. When I got there I was getting tipsy, but he decides to just spend time with me watching tv without any alcohol involved. How I dealt with my situation? Just ditch and find a new place to go.

You should just go back to the hookah bar next week and make sure your phone has batteries.

I'm sorry this happened to you! Nobody deserves that. =/

It doesn't sound like you have much interaction with her, try asking her to study and exchanging numbers that way. Then text her and have a few conversations to try to get to know her. I know if a guy did what you are planing to do to me I would find it very awkward and a bit creepy.

It sounds like she is interested in you, and from what you have written about yourself you sound like a great catch too! Good luck with the date. =)

I think the only way to get over this is to just build up the courage and go for it. Usually guys will ask for a kiss goodbye or do the go for the hug-kiss combo. If you know she is interested in you, then you have nothing to worry about. =)

Make sure you are serious with the new girl first before you come off as an asshole. You don't want to introduce somebody and be broken up with her next week, that would just make you look bad.

You learn how to flirt through experience, just try it out and you'll eventually get the hang of it-- maybe even develop your own style. Its different for everybody, and you can't learn it from just reading about it.

This definitely belongs in RA, but I frequent both that sub and seddit. You shouldn't go in expecting too much, just treat it as if you are meeting a friend. You could get along with her well online, but in person it's sometimes a different story. Good luck!

Haha, I sometimes use that line even when I meet a guy I am interested in. Next time you should push for it a little more, say something like "I guess I'm the only one who thought we were building a friendship here."

If she is more social in person she just might not be a big texter. Try talking to her in person and getting to know her that way.

I am sure that a lot of other people (male and female) will be complimenting her on what she has put together if she does a good job. It is fine if you say it, but don't expect it to stand out.

You can say that you are having problems understanding a concept in class and ask for help studying but instead just talk and get to know her better. After you meet her out of class you can ask her out to lunch or a drink.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
