Just to add my 2 cents. If you want to lose weight quickly and healthily does as above but also consider not doing 3 meals a day. Insulin up and down. Thank Kelloggs in early 1900s for makingv3 means the norm. For kids sure but as adult try 16 hour gap and have 2 meals. Sure it’s crap first few days. I go for the lemon in water or water then start eating after work. Well few beers and high protein diet. Meat, eggs, rack of spices put on the fried eggs. Well you get the idea. Weight stays off but…

Yeah the guy earlier said it straight. Eat well enough, if you hate gym then get a bike or run and dress ok that’s about it plus have some aim. My mate is 50 doing his degree now as he can’t get better job without that paper. If you get married dont fuck it up and get lazy like I did. You can always make up for mistakes plus you learn shit loads on the way

Wow I thought I had it figured out. Complete lack of fear and just going not up to them, but yourself and couple friends or on your own kind of be in the area, few looks, moves if you got them with banging track on. So true, you kind of cold approach although it doesnt seem it, once got a nah ive got a boyfriend so bit later was with a really good one. The other one who told me no rang me after the holiday saying she wasn’t having that. Capricious. Shame I’m 48. I’d do it all again if younger.

Women’s solipsism is a quite the wake up call. No one cares when young and messing around but well into a LTR, the signs are there. The harshest one is the 20+ year one where 1.5 hr each way commute turns you into a weekend father. It didn't seem to register with the wife that perhaps I don't like to get home 9, hardly time for a daily catch up with kids. These extra hours lost and the feeling you get years later. Can they not put themselves in your shors for as moment? No solipsism rules ok.

Well put. Not just lift. Running or cycling really helps fitness and especially mood. Serotonin levels go up helping mood, sleep, appetite. If you can, he’s right about tv, social media except odd check. Texting doesn’t count but call way faster

Sufficient sleep cannot be understated. At certain times, it was recently found that cerebral spinal fluid, pulses in slow waves throughout the brain, washing away waste products and the nasty malformed proteins that can increase with age. Odd night without or minimal is fine but 7-8 hrs proper kip should go with your nutrition. I prefer night bike rides so I just move my clock few hours ahead of normal. Is there any difference between this and say 4.30am start, bed 8.30?

Dude post it on Linked not that Fb shite. Some guy recruiter this week sent me senior role running data lake crap and sorting out their data warehouse. I’t be great. Call out their bullshit so far, flatter their progress so far, Insist on breaking down the silos. Arrange to meet each senior (not too senior where they look at managers dashboard only) from each biz unit. Get your top 3 problems per dep eg FOP or fin, eng etc, assess ROI estimates inc intangibles plus point out they likeku suffer i…

This is very true. To us obvious, he’s your mate, should listen right? Wrong. I’d love to find podcast I can across about communication. No-one wants their viewpoint changed. If you start talking, you ain’t communicating, I think think, you should consider etc. Forget what the damn method was now, but it was clever and counter intuitive. I think keep quiet unfortunately, you could even lose a friend, guy below this got it right ‘ he’ll blan to his girlfriend/wife what you said’ woops

I’ve got 2 close friends who I really think will actually not get the dreaded light switch effect. Me, I didn’t see it coming , 2 just turning teenagers. Life out in your own flat starts out bad if unexpected. Luckily I found the right info like this sub. Just went for it on ton biking and the brilliant intermittent fasting then protein heavy meal later in day. Close one on one with kids. Scraped through year job wise. Don’t get married unless you absolutely sure as f that you don’t see red flag…

Take his advice. Getting in shape is the unspoken. Your told just br yourself it’s enough. Start running or cycling but do it you will feel shiploads better after it. Look into diet, lots of protein after weights. Just buy a couple. You don’t have to go gym. That will start you on the long path to be best version of yourself. Just learn to BELIEVE it. Hard I know, just simply say fuck it ok at rock bottom, BUT 18. Your whole life is yet to be written by you. Also duck what most people say or thi…

Overthinking but then we all have done it. Just give it to her and make minimum fuss about it. Then again bit creepy leaving present there. Fuck it. Just give it to her and leave it at that n move on. She’ll appreciate it. Bit of give ain’t that bad. Don’t get dragged in the net tho boy. Absolutely well said. There is a fair bit going, but non of it needs words. Of course if an abominable song comes on go ash what drink she likes etc, get back into giving it sone moves not OTT just a little move you got nailed. girls love it. Oh to be 23 in Ibiza. I could still give it some at 48 but come. Unless DJ or in the biz, it’s more or less over early 30 except odd birthday trip.

Took me 24 years to figure that one out. Definite 10, fun, good chats, but alas years do go by and people change. Some do in my wife case. Got out of well considering. If you ever get fucked up in ltr, kids etc just punch yourself for being blind then get the fuck fit, diet, goals, give the kids one on one time (which is the bonus) and come out of over zeroing a better man. Takes a year at least

Spot on. 35 years with a so beautiful and fun girl. She said I was only one to stand up to her. We moved countries. Things great few years then her Dad persuaded her to ‘hey you two been here 5 years why not move in.’ So niece, but yeah that’s what all couples do right? So started off ok. I was never big on house task. It was rented and we had cheap live out maid. Then the parents push for marriage. Woah easy there. So not more great parties on this island we live on in HK when the baby talk sta…

Actually that’s really something you just wrote. After 25 years with a top woman and 2 kids, I got the treatment alright. (So called good communication only comes AFTER they have made their mind up). After rough few months it’s case of as you say getting that centre of gravity back to yourself and becoming better man who is healthy and don’t need any woman.

I lost 25 years. But I say to all you young guys- never let a woman be the centre of your life. They are an accessory to your life path. You c. It’s never an get caught up in the till death do us part thing , but people change so much over the decades. Never too late to learn this lesson.

On point. This came up before we split. She had it really bad and still is 7 years later. Beautiful woman but so so different. A flash of momentary recognition when it came up then soon forgotten. Like aware then forgotten. Crazy

Don’t do it. 50k sperm cells per minute will have nowhere to go. If not burst pipe in testes then ‘absorption’ as the clinic will say but then you have your immune system constantly fighting 50k invaders per min. Auto immune. Don’t ever think about guys stay safe ❣️

Same here. 25 years and now 6 months on my own. If I’m honest it’s pretty damn good as I’m now in charge of my time. I spend quality time with kids and now have a week in Siberia to look forward to. Just need to get savings sorted. Women change boys. What you meet in 20s, marry in 30s is not the same in late 40s when menopause hits. Brutal but true

Damn. Same here. 25 years together. I’m 47 now, thought I had the one, first Xmas on my own. Will be Skyping kids tmr later on. Tired so no point in going into detail. They can turn on a dime. I never thought it would happen to us, but I got the I’m not happy spiel then my sister thought it a great idea we should have space to work things out. I thought I had unicorn too. She came from a strong still together catholic family. She values family a lot. Yet after 25 years and 2 kids 14 and 11 out of the blue says she’s not happy move out. Then decides that’s it, not interested in trying. So I’m pushing for divorce and she doesn’t reply to that. Cake and eat it. I’ve been working long hours due to hellish commute and could only see kids during weekend. Well no heads up from her that we were seriously in trouble. I took marriage vows too s…

17 years for me. Nearly lost it. Thank fuck I escaped and got my sanity and respect back. Too many guys my age suffer in quiet desperation. But they do it because men are loyal and it’s what’s society says is expected of them. Quality time with my kids without a nagging never to be happy soon to be ex wife is priceless. Most women late 40s are not truly content and make men suffer as a consequence. Thank god my kids are still young

Reprogramming indeed. Just out of a 25 year relationship at 47. I have so much time to focus now and am healthier than ever. Getting used to not living with a woman after 20 years living together is odd a first then liberating. My kids live the difference in their Dad getting his energy back

Cut that TV out some. You are exactly right. Your brain isn’t interacting with your eyes and hands around real times a second. It’s passive. That’s fine now and again but vid games are like sport for the brain. Kids know this. Society doesn’t of course

Yes, I do the initial proof of concept, it’s bit rough and ready but it gets the point across to the business who don’t care or don’t know it’s rough around the edges. Other programmers will then follow best practices to get it past review but to be fair they have a lot of leeway in their creativity and so POC themselves also and they like the challenges. The worst mistake a programmer can make when getting older is to become a bit nervous of the younger generation in that you should always keep…

I’ve gone my own way this year at the age of 47. The best thing I ever did career-wise was take the advice of a friend 25 years ago and learn SQL. Managing to manipulate datasets to extract business value is always in demand and has enabled me to work in software development here in HK and it pays really well. SQL will always be in demand, my tip would be to learn Alteryx and Qliksense then you can create analytics dashboards and this kind of thing is on fire next decade. I’m thinking of startin…

I was blue pill alpha for 24 years with same woman. Married with 2 kids and that is where the problem is these days. Sooner or later they get bored and it doesn’t matter what you have done in the past. I’ve learnt so much over these last 5 months about women’s nature. Older generations had women in check. They have always been this way but the shame of divorce made them think twice. Not so these days for your strong wamen. Meh, thing is after they flip the switch on you, and you are left questio…

I’m 47 too, living on my own 5 months now after a 25 year relationship. Hard at first, you want back in that cage, but then you realise how much time is suddenly yours and realise how much you have wasted over the years and for what? Women live in the present only and as they get older are just now worth the hassle. Mine was a solid 9, from a good family too ethics wise, still decided to fuck it up. Not worth it guys they can turn when it suits them.

This is so true. I’d do 13 hour work / commute and get back at 9 / 9.30 to see kids briefly to say goodnight. No appreciation from wife for the sacrifices, just complaints. It gets too much. Luckily she let me out of the lions den and after few month feeling sorry for myself, going how does a woman you’ve been with 25 years suddenly treat you as the invisible man, a non person so to speak, a rewriting of your history together, I finally can say hey man your better off out

Here here. Mine was going on for 25 years together. She was a banging 9 easy. I got the bait and switch though after we got married 17 years ago. Ah the idealism I had. Yeah sure you’ll grow old together. It’s a different generation and they don’t have to stay with you. She’s not happy and she moved on in her head and that was that. I’m out now enjoying my own flat kids a bit shocked by it all but when they change sometimes you just can’t get through to them.

I lost 50lbs by eating meal a day in evening during week. Clear head during day then eat and drink whatever. Peanuts are really good as lowest insulin response

This. I’ve been with her 25 years married 17. Mommy mode 24/7. I shouldn’t have let the bond between us slip but I did complacently then one day bam

Same here. So I lost 50lbs this year hitting it with the mountain bike. What really took the weight off was eating meal a day at dinner during week. I know it sounds odd but you soon get used to it and do not feel hungry. Something called autophagy where body burns the fat for its needs. Works a charm. Also dont get that post lunch tiredness anymore and more alert than ever. Then eat well and drink whatever after work.
/r/MGTOW26/09/19 12:26 AM

Great quote from Socrates, he has tons of them. Good post op. I’m 47 and got too used to the status quo. Lost 45kbs since then, doing ton of mountain biking and also the 16/8 diet. I eat just in evenings during week and don’t feel hungry during day as insulin level is stable. Amazing the respect you get from people when you get in shape. Just how it is for us men. Burden of performance, but since I got rp’d it all makes sense and I look forward to great life ahead. Do it fellas

So true. So many married men won’t admit to this. Happened to me after 24 years. I think men get affected more on that most just accept it as part of being a Dad. I know I did until this year. Careful guys you don’t have to accept this.

Good that you are so young as I’m 47 and relearning how to be as I was at peak at 23. It’s all true. Hit the gym it’ll add more confidence, have the prize mentality, know what you are aiming for and create a goal or two.
