Oh for fucks sake, someone’s been reading the Peterson.

He’s not offering anything you couldn’t find in a “self help for dummies” book, and it comes with a lot of toxic baggage including justification of violence.

I’d say that for the mindset aspect, I’d probably recommend Alan Watts. He speaks a lot about positivity in the self and finding security in your own personality.

In all honesty, I want to understand-not become. I’m no alpha, nor a beta. I’m here to understand people who get written off as bad without people knowing them. The redpill gets a lot of shit, I want to know why. I want to know the good and the bad.

Well someone’s tilted off the face of the earth. I’m doing the research now, that’s why I’m here. The sidebar doesn’t answer all my questions, so I figured I’d ask redditors. I don’t know why you seem so upset, I’m looking into this because I want to understand.

JBP bases his “advice” on a shitty understanding of science, a political agenda that consists entirely of “not the left”, and his own borderline autistic understanding of social interactions. The very basis of his advice is fine but what he builds off of it is so malformed and toxic that it cannot be clearly stated, so he uses sophistry and word games to essentially water it down to meaninglessness. Basically, either you come away with absolutely nothing or it feeds your already extant ideas fee…

Then that sounds like a pretty harsh attack on someone who can connect with a woman on an emotional level. The majority of men don’t seem to fall on either end of the spectrum then, so they.

Thank you for helping me understand. The idea itself is positive, but I think the red pill has created a Toxic Alpha Mentality

Sounds like you wanted to create a sounding board for your own ideas to be vomited back at you. If your story is true, the woman is a nut and not representative of feminism at all. More than likely she’s been raised to be afraid of her own body or uncomfortable, and thus impressed that onto what she thinks all women should do.

There’s a ton of responses so you prob won’t see this, but game is bullshit. Don’t try it, it’s peddled by insecure dipshits who don’t think of sex as anything but a conquest that they need to affirm their fragile masculinity. There is no point in trying to reinvent yourself to appeal to bitches who think you aren’t good enough, because then you’re trying to meet their standards and be what they want instead of the you that you are.

In every post I’ve read it sounds like it. And where does the term even come from?

Like what is asserted an Alpha should be? It sounds like an overbearing domineering personality that only finds their value by doing things that make them “better” than others.

I’m posing the possibility that perchance the “red flags” are a series of behaviors with other explanations- maybe she’s said some things about you in the past that she worried would upset you, maybe there’s personal family matters that wouldn’t be for you to see, etc. and because of your history with being hurt the way you have you suspect her more and thus want to prevent yourself from being hurt.

It sounds less like an act of self respect and more like you’re lashing out because you’ve been hurt and are afraid to get hurt again. I think if maybe you reflected upon yourself instead of directing this feeling outward for a bit, you’d be a bit more clearheaded.

How about you don’t do anything until it’s clear that is what she wants? Don’t be a dickhead and get an assault charge on your rap sheet.

I’m also protective of my phone. I’m not on her side it’s just a common trait. All in all, if she wasn’t cheating, would you even be happy though? With her, I mean. Do you WANT to be with this girl?

Sounds like you’re feeling a bit of bipolarity. Try to ease up on yourself, too many redpills and you’ll OD. Try to derive simple pleasure from small things in life, and slow down. You need to consider going back to your psych, not for meds but for an Evaluation. I promise, it can help.

You know, it sounds like you can’t feel good about yourself without devaluing, insulting, demeaning etc other people. Namely the women that catch your eye. The “beta” reaction you’re so ashamed of? It sounds like it’s borne of a lack of belief in your own hype. Maybe you shouldn’t try to impose some idea of yourself as an “alpha” because that’s not working, and instead focus on trying to find what’s making you so bitter and jealous. I promise you it’s a slow process but it works. There’s somethi…

Don’t go to JBP for advice on life. Or anything for that matter. You just need to work on creating an environment where you can be comfortable.

In before someone suggests Jordan Peterson. Whatever you do, don’t. It’s normal to be anxious, just try to plan more if you’re surviving on your own. Have a head start on financing by making a budget, get yourself groceries instead of eating out. Clean up often and try to find somewhere to work out.

No idea what a plate is but drop her. Someone trying to play games isn’t worth it. If she’s saying you two can’t interact much then gets mad when you’re okay with it, then she’s playing around.

Why are you aiming to debate. What would we even be debating? Also, underhanded comments about memory aren’t civil, and this is a Reddit thread asking for advice not two nobodies online debating.

Why are you bringing up religion. The hell does that have to do with anything. Also, if you’re saying it’s none of our business then how would we help someone asking a question like this. I understand it makes you feel smart to talk about separation of church and state (which is a function of nearly every state outside of the Middle East) but it’s completely irrelevant.

So what you’re saying is that people on here subscribe to amorality? I don’t know what you hope to achieve by saying that. I’m sure the OP doesn’t want to be amoral, it’s such a nasty tag.

You’re reinforcing toxic mindsets. Don’t tell someone it’s okay to be intentionally underhanded and manipulative. This isn’t a video game with stats and skills where you come out on top, it’s life and there are people in it that deserve to be treated as such.

You’re a narcissist with sociopathic tendencies. You don’t need a reddit thread you need a therapist. The ability to manipulate like this shouldn’t be a “good” thing to you. Try to shore up your ability to read people and empathize instead of looking at others like pieces in a game.

You going to consider the fact that you may be reading heavily into actions without the context you think they have? Maybe her boyfriend likes to give her freedom to do what she wants as far as self expression. Maybe she’s naturally flirtatious, and feels comfortable talking with you. Your conquest is childish and stems from your need to prove something, you stated as much yourself. You know what you want to do, no one on this forum can stop you. Let us know when you get shut down, or we’ll see …

Uhhhh all the weird gross comments aside, I think that if there’s no evidence for you to work off of then it’s a feeling that stems from yourself. WHICH IS FINE. Don’t move in with someone if you aren’t comfortable with them, there’s no need for all this excessive tricking or leading on, just say you don’t want to. If she’s an ass about it then good, you got your proof. But there’s a solid chance it’s just your lack of comfort telling your brain that something is up, and you shouldn’t go against…

ED is a psychological and physical thing. No amount of sexy in a woman is going to change your mindset. If you’re creating standards that are untenable for any woman or not mentally engaged in what’s going on, you’re gonna go floppy. Alternatively, maybe you just have a shit diet or lower sex drive.
/r/askTRP04/01/19 08:41 AM

Maybe you’re not getting the experience you want. There’s something missing from the pure sexual interaction, maybe the way it’s initiated? Or possibly you want to have it not be a one and done straight physical thing. Ejaculating can lead to a hormone crash immediately after; its why we’re inherently ashamed of masturbation. So there’s a chance that crash coupled with a general dissatisfaction in the way things went down is the culprit.

Maybe that standoffish feeling you get is from yourself, and creates a feedback loop in your own head? Meeting people should be easier once you’re more willing to think less, because if you’re in half as good shape as you sound it isn’t a physical thing. I’m a dumbass and new to the whole red pill scene, but I’m sure if you take some time to sit back and realize that you’ve got more to offer people than you thought then the confidence with that will follow.
