Interesting thoughts =) I would accept that there is an argument to be made for biological differences, as you say. I would also be tempted to point to them as the reason patriarchal societies are more likely throughout history, although I would need more evidence to claim that. Interesting article! Thanks for the information. It would appear that breadwinning women are less happy then breadwinning men as a group. But it also showed that most (>80%) bread winning women were happy if they thought the man was 'pulling their weight' in a sense. Those who were unhappy with the man's contribution were more likely to be unhappy with the bread winning position. Isn't it that the primary breadwinner is less happy, regardless of gender? If the man can handle the stress, I don't see why a woman couldn't.
