Wear your better clothes, but change it up with accessories and using pieces in different ways. I don't think guys would notice a woman wearing a black dress multiple times, if she wore a different necklace, hairstyle, makeup or shoes, etc.

Most people are saying that women should approach them, and all would be solved. Not so. Socially, it's completely okay for guys to be rejected as 'socially' we're taught from a young age that girls should be coy, etc. The guy can attribute it to his game, his looks, his shitty wing, whatever. For a girl to be rejected, it's basically a 100% referendum on her looks because 'socially' we're taught guys will nearly always want it if the girl is attractive enough. (Girl here) I can't agree more with this. I had a few bad conversations with one guy (mostly because he kept catching me at bad times), and completely forgot about them. In fact, I only remembered because he brought them up and mentioned how awkward they'd been.

i can see this a lot as I'm in college. The people I was friends with were reflections of the much weaker, more awkward person than I am now. As I've become more comfortable, I've met different people and people have said I've 'changed' (I know!)

I'm a woman...and I 100% agree with this. I'd also add-try to sit next to her (not just 'close') for a few times and just ask a few questions.
