What does this say about the level of security and protection afforded to the President of France?

Depending on where you live, it may be culturally accepted (unfortunately) for a female to utter threats upon another person's life and not elicit much of a response from community members. However, if you legitimately felt threatened, law enforement has a zero tolerance policy for threats of violence or danger and you could have reported the incident to your local law enforcement centre by calling their non-emergency line. I wish I had more insight as to how this could be addressed as a societa…

Texas is pro-life until birth and then all those cares and concerns for protecting and preserving fragile defenseless human life disappear. I am seeking to understand, so please correct me if I have misunderstood.

It does not take much to become a father, but it should be an entire paradigm shift from the status quo when one chooses to step it up and become a parent. It is slightly more involved than filling out your surname and ticking off boxes if you want to do it properly and in a way that makes a positive impact - on your child's life, on the world, etc.

This may not have been the case for your ex-partner, but I just want to point out that it is possible to have a positive parent-child relationship even if the parent has to work away from home for extended periods of time - some occupations do not offer any alternatives. I'm not sure how old your ex-partner is, but in case her youth pre-dates the internet and smart phones being commonplace and affordable, surely telephones and the postal service were available for use by her father. Even parents…

I'm not sure why the media chooses to irresponsibly report the news. It is not possible for an adult to "have sex" with a minor. The act of sex implies all parties are consenting participants. When there is no consent, consent has been retracted, or consent is impossible (such as the case between an adult and a minor below the age of consent), this is no longer considered sex, but it is considered sexual assault or rape. These cases are, by definition, statutory rape. It seems that the media thi…

Can't afford a family court lawyer, but plans to purchase ovum via donor and use the services of a surrogate. Someone didn't do his homework.

A stable sustainable healthy fulfilling relationship is one where both parties are investing the same amount of energy to nourish and nurture it. How each party invests will depend entirely on the people involved, but the intensity and magnitude of energy has to match otherwise the one person covering for the other burns out and the other person believes that their fantasy version of a relationship is reality and attainable and they will continue to behave this way - both in their current relati…

You yourself describe her as a "girl" who lacks the mental capacity or wherewithal to behave like a fully functional adult - her parents enable her underdeveloped mind by not forcing her to be responsible for herself. If this is all true, how can you possibly by even remotely surprised that she is acting childish? Why are you enabling her infantalization by going well out of your way to keep her sheltered from reality? As the saying goes: play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

I have always found it strange when two people are co-parenting why either party would consider themself a "single parent." Sure you may be separated from your former partner, in which case your relationship status could accurately be described as "single." But when it comes to parenting, if your former partner is involved, you are not parenting on your own (which is what I would consider "single parenting"), you are co-parenting. I get the sense that in current times many people are seeking out…

He did admit guilt to the fourth allegation of repeatedly sexually assaulting one of his co-workers in the workplace. She agreed to drop the charges (and subsequently the case did not go to trial due to his admission of guilt) after he announced he was going to make a public apology to her. In effect, he destroyed his own career if only due to this fourth allegation (even though allegedly this was a pattern of behaviour with him and thus there may be other former colleagues who were affected who…

I am truly sorry for your diagnosis. I hope you find a pathway to healing and better mental and physical health. Please prioritize your own mental health over any familial obligations or loyalty. On a completely separate note, your sister is not a radical feminist. She is a bigoted misandrist. Disregard anything she says until and unless she learns how to be helpful and supportive.
