Thanks for the honest feedback. I see what you mean by your first statement, although it has worked for me in the past, it is purely individual and you are closer to the general case. The second statement though was a complete no-no in my situation : as we are part of the same group where I have some serious traction, it wasn't smart for me to push it too far as he knew that my reputation was my weak spot. Point taken though.
