It makes perfect sense.

I fully agree with this statement.

This. I've gotten pregnant on birth control. It happens. I don't think any woman should be forced or pressured into having an abortion if she doesn't want to. That said, I don't think it's fair to force men into fatherhood, either. If mom wants to keep the baby, she should get the societal and social support necessary to raise it without its biological father.

I mean, all pizza is oily pizza. You wouldn't know that you loved sunny days if it weren't for rainy days. And so on and so forth...

I feel your pain. My family is into the crazy YouTube videos. Arguably even worse.

Gasp Wow, wow...I just watched half an episode, and I hate to admit it, but you might just be onto something...whoa, dude. I think I'm starting to see the light.

It's possible, at least from my end. I've had plenty of male friends with whom I would never dream of doing the horizontal tango. And a few that I would, but I don't like ruining good friendships unless it actually seems like a GOOD IDEA.

Humans really did build all that fancy stuff that's been attributed to aliens...

Yes, that makes sense.

I can think of two reasons: They learned a lot from the experience of being married to a quality mate for an extended period of time. A lot of quality men are attracted to married women. The simple fact of being taken can make a woman seem more desirable to psychopaths, which are sometimes highly successful.

It's definitely interacting with the men that makes the coping the most difficult. Sometimes I just want to let go and move on, but I care about their feelings. So they drag me back down, again and again, and I let them...

I know a lot of people who just don't give a crap. Women, too. I don't get it. It matters to me what goes into my body, unless it's just one of those days when I have no shits left to give. Then you might witness me eating a bucket full of fried things with soda and a pie. It has been known to happen.

There is such a thing as too much effort. Just, like, eat normal and get some exercise. A little sun won't kill you. And yeah, shower. That's all I really ask, as long as your brain has something going on.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/18 02:17 AM
2

I do not count calories. I do keep an eye on my macros, most of the time. And I'm saying that most men who want to date me don't bother about their diets at all. And this bothers me. Because I want a partner who is actually interested in sticking with me for the long haul. Not just until his arteries get so clogged that he keels over because he didn't watch what he ate.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/18 01:00 AM
2

No, I just try to eat healthy unless it's a "cheat" day. Most of the men I've dated don't bother to even think about it.

If your shirt is crumpled, fine. But you'd better have a nice goatee, then. And narcissists can be quality people. Tell me, would you not look longer and more favorably upon a nice-looking person than someone covered in grease and smelling like three days without a shower, even when they have the time and resources to look after themselves?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/18 12:36 AM

This is valid. Sexual attraction is important. If I'm watching what I eat and exercising regularly, I fucking expect you to be, as well. Clothes are a really important component, here. If you dress well and groom yourself in a manner that "clicks" with my personality, I'm prepared to let a lot of things slide that I wouldn't otherwise *wink wink.* Being a little out of shape isn't the end of the world. I'm not exactly...I dunno...Adonis. Though I do look a tad like Aphrodite. The point is that i…

I'm not attracted to men who are genuinely taken. I have a few decades to keep playing. So I'll stick to my strategy, because I am young and attractive enough to win with it.

I can confirm: This is A Thing That Happens to Women, Too.

Yeah, I would pass on any TRPer for marriage-related purposes. Friend that I sometimes sleep with? Maybe. Nothing more serious than that.

For fucking real. It's bizarre. Like, entire countries are involved. I am officially weirded out by the entire thing. But grateful that I have not yet been ripped to shreds.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/18 04:13 PM
1

I've decided to use only one standard. It's higher than it's been in the past, but certainly not unachievable. I must be physically and mentally attracted to someone in order to go on more than one date. That is My New Standard. I think it's fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/18 04:09 PM
1

Hmmm, thanks for the detailed explanation. I can't say I disagree with any of that. While I've never cheated despite having many attractive opportunities, I have stayed with people I was not happy with. It turned out badly for all parties involved. Took me years to figure out that I was actually being cruel, not kind, by failing to break it off cleanly.

I decided to stop being a bang maid and now all the psychopaths want me so much they're protecting me from each other. I hate it. Eh.

I call BS on all of this. Lots of successful men actually see hookers for...wait for it...emotional support. No patience to reply to the rest of this nonsense.

Ah. Well. I am some mixture of AWALT and NAWALT, I suppose. I think all women have their own individual proclivities, but ON AVERAGE, tend to come prepackaged with certain predispositions. It's my belief that all men, women, and whatever there is in-between are capable of rising above their basest instincts to exercise their own CAREFULLY THOUGHT OUT strategies, hopefully with the aim of improving both their own lives and those of any potential partners they may meet.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/18 04:13 PM

Could try doing the same thing, but harder. Or softer. Or slightly different. The key here is not to just give up on something because it's tricky.

Excellent advice. There's a reason why "There are worse things than being alone" is tattooed on my left forearm. I've been glancing at it a lot, these days. I suppose I've always had a lot of options, but I just wanted one person to be as faithful as I am. Turns out that might not have been what I actually wanted. Life is odd.

What happens when you have no options? I have always been faithful and generous with every partner I've been with. It has always blown up in my face. What does that mean? What does it say about me? I don't know.

I'm not exactly thin. I get acne sometimes. Oh yea, and a few dark-ish hairs on my upper lip. I am homeless and unemployed because I got fired from the first job I ever loved and I couldn't let go of it. I'm stubborn as fuck and I swear a lot. I also love to smoke and drink, and I will kick your ass at any game you try to teach me.

I agree with this premise, and I agree that we do have a responsibility in creating such a dynamic. That said, I have never viewed myself as a reward. And I have never given sex as a reward. Maybe that's why I've never been in love, and why I've never had good sex. Huh.

Fine, it was not free. And I sort of got what I wanted. But not the way I wanted it. So I'll try to be more specific, eh? :P

Believe you me, I've learned.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/18 08:54 PM

And you're right. I expected love. It was not free sex. And I got love, I guess. But I still couldn't give the love back. Because the sex was always so terrible. Ugh, why is it always so bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/18 08:54 PM

It costs whatever I want at the moment. Which could be as simple as a cup of good coffee. Or a joint. Or that the sex actually be REALLY good for me. For the first goddamned time ever.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/18 08:53 PM

I've given sex freely, expecting love in return. I guess that was always a bad move. No more of that. It's a transaction tool, now.

Check and mate. I'm not a player, but I guess I'll play the players, now. Because maybe that game is MORE FUN FOR ME. Hmmm.

Men are not entitled to sex when the answer is no. Men are entitled to love, from somebody. But it has to be consensual. My two pens. K.

See, it's possible to be both kind AND decisive, dominant, aggressive, etc. Some of the hugest assholes I've ever met are passive-aggressive, grovelling, self-professed "nice guys." Some women just want an equal, it's true. So they'll take the closest thing they can get, which often happens to be an outward asshole who doesn't give a flying fuck about what anyone thinks. Quality women don't want to be put on pedestals. We don't want to be worshiped. We don't want you to lick our goddamned feet. …

I think the converse is also true. Loads of guys would date less attractive women if their buddies didn't give them shit for it. My two...Pence. Lololol.
