1	Regarding false sexual assault allegations and the proper punishment thereof Agreed. I just wonder though if that might inadvertently mean that more guys who are victims of false allegations end up spending longer behind bars because an accuser who might otherwise have come forward and admitted to falsifying it, is too afraid to. 1	Why is it ok for feminists to say "Men's issues are because of other men - male judges, politicians etc - and not our problem", but not ok for men to say "Most slut shaming is from groups of women to other women, not our problem"? There's a difference between disapproving of someone's lifestyle and actively participating in systematically destroying that person's social life, which is what I've seen in the examples I mention above. (bit of a wall of text) Indeed, and this is problematic actually because in my experience it allows a lot of them to shirk responsibility for the toxic elements of the label "oh, well that's not MY kind of feminism" which effectively makes it almost impossible to have a proper debate about the controversial aspects of it.	/r/MensRights	22/08/13 11:12 PM

At length, the woman I was arguing with (who in fairness was quite civilised about it, not what you'd expect from that subreddit) eventually simply stated that she didn't believe in freedom of speech. Not that this is any surprise, but it's cool to see someone from that group actually admit to it. 1	Genital mutilation My views on this are very simple. ANY non emergency based modification or mutilation of an infant's body without consent should be illegal. It absolutely amazes me that such a central thing - one's genitals - are fair game to be "edited" after birth. It's sickening. 11	So I decided to go and see what's the deal with SRS... I responded to that very same thread with a long and detailed post about my issue with feminism being both its exclusivity and its insistence that hurt feelings are more important than freedom of speech, and at length I managed to get them to admit that they simply don't believe in free speech if it's offensive to them. I was of course banned immediately afterwards.
