You seem to have a real chip on your shoulder about this, which I guess is why you locked a thread in a science sub-reddit about it. Let me take a fantastic guess, you're a circumcised white male, aged mid-thirties American. Wow how did I guess that so accurately?

Labiaplasty is voluntary, unlike circumcision. Literally in the western world, it's only women who get it done and for their own reasons. Sometimes it's even a medical necessity, which I discovered on some British body health show.

You're falsely equivalating getting cancer with a botched circumcision? Are you serious? That is in no way the same thing. If you're gonna complain about people comparing circumcision to fgm, then don't compare harmful consequences of a bad circumcision to something that's almost totally unavoidable. There's no benefit to fgm, but there are benefits to a labiaplasty. No one ever said there were any benefits for fgm, but pretending like women don't get health problems with their genitals is a bit…

You're lying. You didn't used to be strongly opposed. Anyone who says that and lets a flimsy article persuade them is a bit dense. Want to be convinced of the harms of circumcision? Look up pictures of botched circumcisions.

For the love of god, stop acting as if most labiaplasty surgeries are harmful. They're not. You. Are. Not. In. The. Majority. And way to ignore most of my post, I knew you'd do that. I've also read your other posts where you brag about how many cut men you've slept with and I'm beginning to think you're a little fanatical. It's ok to complain about your "injury", but your way of doing it is really sleazy. Your doctor isn't most doctors, fyi. Stop generalizing all the people who perform this surg…

Your whole thing is that you're upset that a doctor botched your surgery, and then acting as if every other labiaplasty procedure is exactly like yours. And then you do this stupid thing where you go "oh btw, labiaplasties are worse than circumcisions" anytime someone compares the two together. Look up botched circumcisions on google, look at the pictures and compare those to what you have. I’ve literally read and analyzed all the literature on genital cosmetic surgery Since genital cosmetic sur…

You seem to be completely unaware of labiaplasty as a somewhat trending sugery in places like, for example, Australia. In that country, women get it done for cosmetic reasons. Granted, it isn't common in the world overall, but there is safety in doing it. Those women who get it, they don't get their labias trimmed off with rusty razorblades. You're very ignorant about the surgery. Stop defending circumcision, it makes you look like a hypocrite. There are far more men out there with botched circm…

Labiaplasties are mostly harmless, you're an anomaly. Yet you constantly pretend (judging by your post history), that getting one is worse than the commonly performed, and often botched male circumcision procedures.

I checked her twitter account (using twitter quotes and screenshots from other people, because her account has since been deleted), the woman from the post. Turns out, unfortunately, that she thinks labiaplasty is worse than circumcision and she doesn't give a rat's ass about male circumcision whatsoever. Typical really.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
