My points are straight out of 'No More Mr Nice Guy' which is RP 101. that's such a combination of narcissism and being socially unaware it's absurd. By the textbook definition of narcissism, it's the opposite. A narcissist would expect the world because of their insane self-interest. They're perfect and you owe them for helping you out. I don't know if you've ever met a person who's actually narcissistic, but they go out of their way to help you out because their way is better than yours. That's…

Not exactly my point. You should be nice to people because it's what you ought to do. Society should stop telling men that sacrificing their own goals to help others achieve theirs will always net a reward.

First off, approach anxiety is totally normal. Anyone who doesn't get at least a little nervous is lying (or drunk). The best thing to do is recognize that nervous energy and try to channel it into something productive. Say to yourself "Hey, I'm anxious and want this to go well, looks like it's time to step my shit up". It's a good thing, use that pressure to pump yourself up channel that nervous energy into confidence and make your move. The rule of thumb is the three second rule. You have thre…

The way I've always understood this argument is all based on what your definition of 'being nice' is. To me, being nice is doing something that you ought to do without expecting something in return. You see someone drop a bunch of their things, you help them pick it up for no other reason than you're being nice and it's what you should do. The whole 'being nice to get into her pants' comes from the idea that young men are conditioned at a very early age by their mothers and teachers (who are mor…

What's the saying? A man will show a woman how he loves, it's up to the woman to accept it, or something like that... If you're not making her cum, it's only a matter of time before she finds someone who can. To me this seems like a tangent from TRP ideals, kinda like how some guys enjoy a LTR and others are MGTOW. It's more a personal preference of how much effort you want to put into satisfying the women in your life. And while it may not be "TRP material" the whole point of this sub is to pic…

This post is spot on! This reminds me of another comment I read a while ago about what women do when they're caught shoplifting. It's from a deleted account that what posting on this video. Dealing with shoplifters has been my gig for the past 6 years. Everywhere from the ghetto to the upper class suburbs, Walmart to Macy's. I'm not sure how exactly this would apply to RP theory, I'm sure someone else who is smarter about it would know more. But chicks shoplift all the fucking time, probably 2x …

Yeah, it's like "hey I'm going to look really awkward while I contemplate the mysteries of the universe"

And if you do have to break eye contact, always look to the side. Looking down is submissive and looking up is kinda weird.

Asking a girl to introduce you to other girls is like asking a fish to help you catch another fish. To be honest, if your roommate was going to hook you up with her friends, she'd have already done it by now without you having to ask. If you want to get invited to stuff, you have to do some inviting yourself. Host a party, buy a case or two of booze and some pizza, and invite them over.

I agree to a certain extent. To be honest, whenever some beta bs pops up on my facebook it makes me cringe, and I realized it's because it reminds me of my former self (I call him BetaPeter or BP). I discovered TRP at a very crucial time in my life and it gave me a complete overhaul on my attitude. After that, I spent months focusing on myself, fitness, and school. It was a complete turnaround and totally paid off. So when I see and old friend of mine lamenting about his girl troubles, it takes …

True shit man! The smile is definitely the second thing a person see after the eyes, it's essential to confident body language. I personally don't think your teeth look that bad at all, especially compared to my jagged ass bottom jaw, gap between my two front teeth, and a lateral incisor that straight up came in sideways. To be honest, I missed my chance to get braces as a youngster by more than a few years and I think braces would be way more embarrassing at this point. Take it from me, if you …

My run in with 2 post walls: I step out of the bar for a cigarette and am blindsided by two women, a blonde and brunette, in their late thirties, early-fourties who put me on the spot when the blonde asked "would you have sex with her" obviously trying to prove a point that her friend could still bag a one night stand, or that she wasn't too old to be sexually promiscuous, or I don't know what ever. I'm 22 and have no interest in this women. There's a reason she's 40 and single and there are ple…

When you're reading, don't just focus on what the author is saying about women, how they act, or how you should act around them. Try to think about the attitudes the authors have. What beliefs do they hold that led them to make their arguments, ask yourself "what is it about the way this person carries themselves that makes them alpha and confident?" Working out and improving your fashion sense will definitely open doors, but at the end of the day it's all about attitude. As much as people hate …

That's what I came here to say. Does the shit a rich, 10/10 gorgeous, knockout celebrity does really apply to the types of girls the average guy is trying to pick up?

I don't know, anything besides keeping a food journal and counting calories just seems like a fad to me. I'm sure it has it's merits and produces results, but there are much better, more effective, easier, and healthier ways to lose weight. Personally, I feel too drained to hit the gym if I've been skipping meals. This probably doesn't belong in this sub. Although, I'd welcome a tread that discusses what other RP'ers are eating. However, most of that stuff can already be found on /r/fitness or o…

With any luck you'll be making so much money you wont have to worry about hitting the wall. Definitely stick with it. Not really TRP advice but as far as meeting other guys goes, if you live close to a major city I would give Tinder a shot. Its a "dating" app for smart phones. It can be addicting and it's perfect if you're looking to have quick, casual meet ups.

Honestly I'm OK with slut shaming You shouldn't be. The only reason girls do it is because there's another lady being easy and lowering the sexual market value for all women. The other girls don't want to "give it up" so easily so they shame her into raising her price of sex. When guys shame girls it normally has something to do with being bitter over a girl not reciprocating his sexual advances. I've heard guys say things like "Of course she'd go fuck some other guy, she's a slut." And you know…

One of the first things that swallowing trp did for me was ruin my taste in music, heavy metal to be specific. There was a post about trp in the agressive music scene. But it also introduced me to 80's hair metal, and let me just say, I've been missing out. Those guys (motley crue, van halen, poison) pulled pussy like none other. Then the 90's came around and anyone who wanted to be heavy was doing the opposite of 80's rock stars.

Dude, try applying TRP to aspects of your life outside of dating, it applies to work, school, family, etc. I don't think I'll ever stop learning from this sub.

I'm really glad I found this thread. I'm in a similar situation with a sister who's a little younger and I'm half the state away at college. Shy, couch potato, not many friends outside of school, sheltered (no internet/social media/cell phone) and to be honest I think that, once she comes out of her shell, she's going to be an awesome lady. However, I still feel like I've let her down for not being there. I had a tough time in high school and I just want her to have a better time than I did. Any…

Honestly, before I started reading this I was a beta that managed to date a solid 10. I was head over heels for this girl, but she followed the female stereotypes depicted on this sub to a tee and dumped me on my birthday. I tried bouncing back by hitting the gym hard, picking boxing back up, and dumping over 300 bucks into new clothes but that only got me so far. The attitudes that people on this sub have, the attitudes that rubbed off on me, got me further than any self-improvement, soul searc…

Dude, I'm right there with you. I'm 4 for 4 on getting laid on the weekends since college started back up and I've only been reading this sub for about two months, and I'm not even peaking. The confidence I've gotten from this sub has extended outside the bedroom and into the student organizations I'm a part of, I was just voted president of one and treasurer of another (arbitrary status does lead to pussy if you play it right btw). Right now it's hard to relate to a lot of the extremists on her…

I've also seen it used as a metaphor for a girls thought process, or a break down of that process. Example; "I saw the hamster wheel spinning in her head when I refused to buy her a drink"
