It doesnt even have to be that bad. I remember that story a couple years ago about that soccer ref who got killed in one punch after a guy was pissed about a red card. If you dont prepare for a punch, it can be absolutely devastating

Driving isn't the same thing as getting coerced. If you can prove in a court of law that you were drunk when you signed a contract, that contract us void. Youre looking at two different situations and calling it the same. One is someone taking advantage of another person because they were drunk and the other is someone doing something stupid themselves while they were drunk Law stops people from getting coerced into things. For example, you cant get baited into buying drugs or soliciting a prost…

You would need to have a unilaterally negative direction in the movement. At the moment it is jsut this clan type movement and certain clans do good things, where many other clans do terrible things. Now, If the good clans were just sitting there doing nothing, than I would say it is more or less unilaterally negative, but there are still bastions of the movement who are helping out people. I usually dont ever call movements bad, just people bad. The person who pulled the fire alarm on that talk…

That is part of feminism. That is not all of feminism. Choose to see what you want and you can say whatever you want about any group. I am not a feminist, but I am not dumb enough to clump a whole group of people into one group or another. In this day and age that is the lazy way of doing things.

I see enough things where I choose disgust and I leave. I am not saying all of you are goons, but I have seen enough dumb people on here to not want to read things on this subreddit anymore. I am not saying all people on this subreddit are bad, but there are enough dumb things upvoted to the top that I want to leave it.

the sweeping generalization for gender was the part of the quote that said "...What they would really like me to say is, 'Ha, sisters, I stand with you side by side in your struggle toward the golden dawn where all those beastly men are no more.' Do they really want people to make oversimplified statements about men and women?..." and yeah, you can. When you stand and point a finger at an ideology and say wow, these people are all bad, you are willfully being ignorant of the good things that hap…

I am not for this community. I made the mistake of not being specific enough with my stuff. subs like mensrights made me realize that there are two sides of the coin. There are bad feminists and there are bad mens rights activists.

Sweeping generalizations about a group of people isnt good.

Ugh... I am usually a person who is for mens rights, I was subscribed to this for a while, but shit like this is why I unsubbed. You literally take a quote that talks about how you can not make sweeping generalizations about genders, and then you make sweeping generalizations using the quote as your back up...

Ok man. You are just way too edgy right now. Words that you didnt say, but did.... ok..... Trying to say there were no implication or suggestion in what you said is just daft.

Ok, 1: Holy edgy, batman. Calm yourself. 2: The way you put it and the comment it was replying to made it sound like something dire happened to this kid to make him go to the police. Since when cant a kid go to the police if he feels he is being taken advantage of by an adult? Questioning is fine, questioning with a lean towards rape is why all of these false rape accusations exist in the first place.

So, then why would you wonder and speculate why he went to the police?
/r/MensRights23/02/13 03:59 AM

So, you weren't just implying that the kid got raped just because he went to the police?

We aren't here to assume and speculate. These are facts. We arent going to stoop ourselves to be as low as straw feminists are.

I am taking a chivalry class in college. According to Sidney Painter, one of the premier historians of french chivalry, Courtly love was the way men were able to have extramarital affairs with whoever they want and not get concequences. Women were so low at the time that if a man killed a little girl, he would get a fee of 200 currency, and if he killed a woman ready for birthing it would be a 600 currency fee. "Chivalry" is not the message anyone looking for equal rights of any sort should be u…

All the flyers more or less have been taken down, partially by me, and probably partially just for the fact that the event has been over for almost a week now. I will read off the dialog of what my picture covered(i was more zoomed in on the actual picture of the art, if that's what you are talking about, the link I put in my second edit is the first painting at the top.) here is the text, ? equals unknown text. "???? ???? In The Classroom. Join us for conversations about Feminism and ways to cu…

Its a college, but yeah. Apparantly the artist that made the paintings is only famous because feminists praise her like she is god.

Ah, Ive never been a big fan of basketball. too many jammed fingers... Then again, I did sprain my ankle 16 times in one year playing soccer. I was a dumb kid.

Yeah, it is the first one. Now, this isn't a feminist art rally. What is the story behind the paintings? It still seems like an innapropriate image to put just for a generic rally.

Can do. its in my dining hall, so when I go to dinner tonight, I will go get it.

It isn't a picture, I should correct myslef. It is a painting. None the less. It is putting off the image to me that instead of a feminist rally, it is just a big rally for misandry. I should have posted earlier, Apparantly the rally just happened last friday, but the posters are still up at the moment. It is in Alfred University in New York

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
