There is a patriarchy to an extent, obviously. But that doesn’t suggest that it’s unfair to women or a problem. You’ll find more men at the top of highly competitive fields, just like you will find a disproportionate share of Jews at the top of many fields. That’s doesn’t mean the system was rigged for men. Feminists, like the nazis, assume it must be a conspiracy, and, like the Nazis, blame all members of their imagined group for it. Somehow the homeless man must pay for it? I swear it seems li…

Exactly this. Identity politics makes no sense. A handful of elite men dominate, and somehow every man is in on it? These men aren’t doing it for the benefit of other men. They’re doing it for the benefit of themselves. FUCKING DUH! Do they think a lion that has a pride has to pride for the benefit of bachelor lions? Like what??? Makes no damn sense.

Specifically, there’s a comment on here acting like his step mom was a bitch for getting a dog while his dad, who didn’t want a dog, was deployed. Like BRO, she needs companionship. His dad divorced her over it. Obviously the commenter is biased. How can someone think this woman is a bitch for getting a companion dog she wanted while her husband was away? It’s not like she cheated on him, Jesus.

Yeah, Cobra Kai is a better show for you than him. The tv-14 designation is pretty accurate. But it’s a show that’s good to keep in mind for a few years down the road. It’s one of the most popular shows on Netflix so it’ll have at least a few more seasons.

They need to either work through it or not marry someone who really wants a dog. Having a pet can be as important to someone as having or not having children. But people do have a tendency to assume that the person who is against doing something is in the right and the person for doing something should suck it up and give it up. It’s pretty bullshit. I’ve seen it on lots of issues, and it seems to be what’s going on with this post, where they’re complaining about the dog. It’s bullshit. That’s w…

Your wife is a shit vet tech then. Also, you idiot, you have no idea how I take care of my dog. My dog CAN go 8+ hours without going out. She does so every night. That doesn’t mean we don’t take her out during the day. Our dog is well trained, well groomed, well fed but not overfed, taken the vet every year, has a flea collar, collar, and microchip, and goes on walks, as well as playing fetch. So fuck you. You’re such a fucking idiot. You seem to think I’m going around sneaking dogs into people’…

Lol, maybe a little. But not really, no. The people here who got outraged started it. Maybe she would’ve (probably should’ve) divorced him for thinking he could forbid her from getting a dog, but wanted to see if he would change his mind if she went ahead and got one. Better than just going straight for divorce honestly. And yes, most people who don’t want dogs are making a mistake.

Fuck off with pretending that people who deny their spouse something like a dog are morally superior to people who force a dog on their spouse. Also, this is obviously something that should be agreed upon before marriage.

I’m surprised at the responses here. Aren’t power rangers/transformers still popular? Maybe when he’s a little older he should watch Cobra Kai. It’s very pro masculinity and fatherhood. It deserves a lot of praise. Adventure time is good in the earlier seasons, too. Steven Universe is left wing. They’ve released far left PSAs. Almost all the characters are female, and Steven isn’t very masculine. His father is a bum, too. Seriously, though. Cobra Kai is the best thing Hollywood has made in a lon…

When discussing the role/effects/treatment by gender. The left does this all the time, with things like gender pay gap. They say women make 76 cents on the dollar. Which is bullshit without context. But everyone knows individuals make different amounts of money. No one reads that and thinks every man makes the same amount and every woman makes less than that. So stop wasting people’s time with your fucking semantics. Obviously not all women domineer everything. And his decision to give no women …

What’s going on is victim status. Being a victim gives you higher status. It’s saying “you’re so great that, whatever your situation is, it’s so far beneath what you deserve that you’re a victim.” Women hold such high status and value in society that OF COURSE people say “poor you, having to put up with life. If you are denied anything in life, then life isn’t treating you fairly.” It’s the highest praise possible. Women love being told they’re a victim.

As if we live in a meritocracy even though EVERYONE KNOWS it’s far more important who you know than what you know. And you’re going to do better if you’re attractive and tall and shit. everyone KNOWS life isn’t fair, but the winners then tell themselves that everything they have is because they’re better and deserve it. Like WHAT???

They say feminism is about helping everyone, but as a matter of actual fact, it isn’t. You know this. You’ve seen how most feminists behave. You’ve seen feminists subs. They’re not pro male. How does “believe all women” help men when it removes men’s due process rights? I had feminist classmates who justified longer prison sentenced for men on the premise that “men don’t raise children.” To call these people “not true feminists” is an obvious fallacy. Their attacks on masculinity aren’t limited …

Speaking of, this is another massive double standard. If women sleep around, don’t you dare say anything negative about it. But if men sleep around or privately sexualize women, or even suggest interest in sex, they’re misogynists and womanizers.

It’s not surprising incels use aggression and vitriol as their primary way of expressing themselves. No one gives men sympathy. Try to say your life is hard and you need help as a straight white man and you’ll be mocked.

Don’t you know? You are super privileged and YOUR life needs to be made worse, in the name of “equity,” because Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and Bill Gates are very rich, and all the presidents are men. Don’t you understand that that makes YOU privileged? Don’t you see how that makes YOUR life better? No? Too bad. I swear, it really does seem like modern progressivism is a scam by rich white people seeking to push liability for wealth and power inequality onto average joes.

Many victims of abuse become abusers. Many war veterans commit suicide. Getting a limb blown off reduces your life expectancy by 20 years. Get your head out of your ass.

Nietzsche is just wrong and people who have been through severe trauma know it. If suffering was somehow good for children we wouldn’t have CPS. It turns out that severe trauma and abuse harms children in the long run.

You moron. You’ve obviously never had near death experiences. They don’t make you stronger. They traumatize you. You may end up with permanent and disfiguring injuries. What doesn’t kill you often maims you. The phrase is stupid as fuck.

I find it sad that this should be so obvious in most people’s lived experiences, that science bears this out, and that most people will never know or care. Nothing will be done. The future will not be female. Instead, masculine societies will eventually overtake western ones.

This isn’t just you. I had an openly feminist English teacher my sophomore year of high school, way back in 2006, and the teach straight up gave EVERY boy a D or F on a paper on A Doll’s House. In an honors class, where most of the kids were near the top of the class.

Did she use the word rape? It still sounds more like she felt exploited than she was forcibly raped. The idea that a woman can feel exploited after the fact and act like she was raped when she consented is one of the biggest issues that men have to challenge. So yeah it’s little wonder why we aren’t accepting it

My point is men get fucked by stupid rules left and right in society. Combat veterans are frequently denied help because they tend to have problems with violence. Technically not sexist on the surface. Except that violence is a common symptom of combat veterans with PTSD, and the vast majority of them are men. So we just let them be homeless and kill themselves. Just because something follows the rules doesn’t mean it wasn’t sexist as fuck

Okay, and based on the post what she said happened to her isn’t anything like being raped from the ages of 7-10. Which means telling her not to say she can relate because their experiences weren’t similar is perfectly fine

Why would a sub about depression remove posts because the person is contemplating self harm or suicide. Basically you’re just asking half of depressed people to censor themselves. To what end?
/r/MensRights08/12/20 10:40 AM

It’s her post. You can only judge the guy who got raped’s reaction to her post based on her post. If it was more than that she should have said so. You can’t read in something that wasn’t said.

16 year olds are old enough to consent. The guy is 100% right. A 16 year old consenting is not the same as a 7 year old being raped at all. And saying you can relate when you can’t is a really awful thing to do. Have you not been the victim of extreme abuse ever? My mom abused me so badly she broke my arm when I was 6 for not getting dressed fast enough. If someone said “I know how you feel, I got injured playing football” I would take it as an intentional insult.

Which shows that men and women are different. The thing is, there’s all these double standards and reasons for them, but then when, SHOCKER, men and women do different things and have different outcomes, something NEFARIOUS is always at work.

What’s not a fair comparison? If the woman took her shirt off and a guy snapped a picture, but the woman still had a bra on, he would be descended upon with torches and pitchforks. That’s the point.

Because a couple generations ago in the U.S., circumcision was a sort of cultural status symbol, so people started circumcising their children when they themselves weren’t circumcised as a way to show the kid wasn’t lower class. It’s possible the reason circumcision was associated with class is because of how successful the Jewish population tends to be in the U.S.

Marriage is a cornerstone of society. It allows children to be raised by two parents which is essential to success. People who are married are happier and live longer than those who aren’t. However, feminism is damaging women and making marriage worse.

Sure something like that could happen. But it wouldn’t get posted to Facebook, if it did the person wouldn’t fail to understand why it doesn’t work that way, and if she somehow did, there wouldn’t be 27 likes and one person with supportive comments.

And someone else has a different opinion from you so you straw man it and freak out? Why are you wasting everyone's time here. Obviously I don't mind a female lead, or I wouldn't have decided to watch the show I'm the first place. It's the social justice warrior anti white male bullshit that's a problem. Even my wife, who is politically moderate, thought the politics in it were over the top and stupid. Also, second vote that you are, indeed, stupid.

So much. The white male footbal players are portrayed as a bunch of stupid violent bullies who need to be tormented and tortured. The football team is called a "stupid club." A character claims that men only know how to solve problems using physical force. One of the characters references the need to take down the white patriarchy. Having a working class job (as a miner specifically) is said to be a waste of a person's life. That same middle aged miner and father is portrayed as an ignorant and …
