My question is, what happen to the judge that gave him the original sentence (not the judge that decide this one now, as I see the reason why she shouldn't be punished too harshly). It was clearly her words against his, and no hard evidence could be linked (clearly, since the crime never took place). How can judges who make such decision be allowed to make any other decision is beyond me.

But then, how do we improve judges accountability? Surely, we can't just let judges make poor judgement (which is arguably the case here) and let them free, just like that, no repercussions, audit etc.
