This is kinda sad, she kept up this ‘I don’t need a man’ exterior even though deep down she kinda wanted to have a family. She seems to have struggled with relationships and also had that fear of being abandoned. The death of her mother could be a major factor here. I’m sure she would have benefited from psychosocial support although I wouldn’t know if she got any or not for sure.
