I didn't really see any feminist message or undertones in the movie. I just saw an awesome action movie I'd like to see again. In my mind all of the characters were empowered. It's a god damn post apocalyptic nuclear wasteland. Male or female. You have to be strong and empowered to survive in a world like that.
