My wife kept her last name because she has two masters and has done a lot educationally before she got with me. Even though we’re probably not going to have children, we agreed that the child(ren) would have my last name. Albeit sorta liberal politically, I come from a very traditional societal family, so yes, I wanted her to change her last name bc tradition. Now she socially is known as Mrs. (insert my last name) but while she’s teaching and such, she’s Ms. (her last name)

It’s hard, but stoicism really is the way for men in relationships with women that start to act up. First thing...know your triggers. Yes. I feel like I wouldn’t have been arrested and then had to hire a lawyer to make sure I got out without any charges and an expungement. I lost a lot being in jail for two days. I work in an industry where the moment I got arrested, I get flagged in the state system and lose my job whether or not I was guilty.
