You can't possibly expect a rational, self-aware reason for someone who claims this is a rulebreaker, can you? It triggers them because they envy other women for being so much hotter than them that they could make multiples of what they do in a fraction of the time. They also get their self-worth from being desirable - to anybody - and the fact that you could literally put a price tag on it, albeit not a very high one for them, is a huge threat that they must craft defense mechanisms around to a…

I tried rereading this a bunch of different ways and I'm still not sure what you mean. Are you saying, specifically, that women lie - to everyone - when they doubt that the alpha (or at least, noticeably higher value man) they are with will commit to them specifically because that difference in value necessarily causes them anxiety (and so on) and in order to alleviate that anxiety they attempt to secure control over their children by manipulation from the moment of this awareness? If so, it see…

Sounds like the mindfulness brand of psychology being popularized. Noticing self-hating thoughts but not "listening" to them. But, if it's a mental habit like any other, I suspect you can get rid of it too. At the same time, it's easy, when you are used to listening to negative self-talk, to turn that on other people and judge them negatively too. If you are judging yourself by unrealistic standards then you can clearly do the same with other people, and it would provide a rewarding distraction,…

Since you can't see sperm without a microscope, ejaculate contains more than just sperm, and a vasectomy only stops the sperm from reaching the ejaculate, no, it doesn't look any different at all.

Alternative? Tell her to swallow it? I suppose you could rinse it out in the sink before tossing it in the trash. Does handsoap kill sperm?

This is exactly the kind of bogus pseudoscience I hate seeing so readily espoused in TRP and PUA communities. That and pretty much anything about cavemen under the guise of "evolutionary psychology." Anyone using the phrase "reptilian brain" is basically parroting an outmoded understanding of the structure and functions of the brain. Even reading a couple paragraphs on the wikipedia page about the "reptilian brain" brings this point up: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triune_brain Here's a link …

I kinda take issue with "you have no one to blame but yourself." Sometimes you don't know what you don't know. You don't know when you started adopting the popular, maladaptive beliefs of society and your parents, or maybe even when you realized they weren't infallible (let alone hoplessly full of shit like basically every western mother and hopeless chump of a husband they mutually conned into a bad deal) and everything you picked up since then. You don't know when your brain developed the abil…

It's true of anyone, really. You can't trust anyone to be perfect, but you can trust that they'll be human (or, whatever, "themselves" - even though that changes). That means even if your expectations are reasonable they will inevitably disappoint you. It's what you do when that happens that matters and knowing it will happen (at least in theory, even if you don't fully believe it) helps take some of the sting and personalization out of it. Also, the best indicator of future behavior is past beh…

"If I don't trust, I don't live" - that's your bullshit right there. Seriously, you drop dead the second you don't take somebody at face value? Talk about melodramatic. Stop thinking this and maybe you'll stop feeling it too. But, seriously, you're overvaluing this ideal where you get to be gullible in the name of virtuosity while it makes you a juicy target for manipulative people. Trust can given away lightly, recklessly and unwisely, or earned on behalf of trustworthy people through their act…

Jesus Christ, autists. Outside of academia they are used synonymously all the time. Yes, there is a vast difference between a scientific theory and a scientific hypothesis. But, do you really think it matters in this context of a "far out" conjecture, speaking colloquially? The upvotes say yes, apparently.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
