1	Question: Shake hands or kiss? If you didn't grow up in a "kiss on the cheek" culture don't try to implement it into your repertoire now it's just going to be awkward. Hugs are okay, but hugging or even shaking 8 peoples' hands is awkward. My limit is 3-4 (typically handshakes), otherwise everyone gets the head nod.
