Maybe I’m misunderstanding your point, but this sounds pretty much like victim blaming. It’s like saying women earn less on average because the choose to work lower paying jobs, it’s not true because there are outside factors due to discrimination that result in women having lower paying positions on average. The fact that men die more because of things like more dangerous jobs doesn’t change the fact that men are statistically more likely to face violence in their lives. All that asides, it rea…

Alright sorry, I didn’t realize it was the same person. These kinds of comments are almost always with bad intentions. You see it all the time, on both feminist and men’s rights posts, people will almost instantly ask “but what about this thing happening to the other side” to derail the conversation. Anyway I am genuinely sorry for assuming that you had these bad intentions.

Like the Joker himself said, “we live in a society where honor is a distant memory”.

Yeah, that’s awful too. I definitely think this kind of bias against women needs to be stopped. However I am curious why you chose to point this out. Was it because you though that the people here didn’t care about women’s rights? Or are you trying to detail the conversation about men’s rights? Or maybe you just genuinely wanted to share, I’m not one to judge.

Can you explain what you mean by that last section?

“Not all women, there happens to be too many though”. I hope you realize this is the same argument used to call men rapists and criminals. “Not all men, but there’s too many though.” No matter how you look at it it’s not all men and not all women, so why not frame your point around the group that actually perpetuate the problem? For example, rapists and criminals, or radical feminists.

Yes, but with limitations. Yes Yeah I think so No, healthcare should be privatized Of course, yeah And idk if I’d call myself and mra, what would that constitute?

He should have a say, and you should listen to what he says, but ultimately the choice is entirely yours. He can’t force you to do something you don’t want, and if your education is more important to you, he should be able to respect that choice. However he does have a choice on what he does moving forward, and you should respect his choices as well.

Kill all men has nothing to do with what women or men can or can’t do. Both women and men have the same capabilities, and these examples you’ve stated are evening out (not sure that’s a word 💀). What’s relevant is the societal perception of men. Basically, it’s not “men are useless”, it’s “men are dangerous”. Which ultimately is also wrong, but I think the important distinction is that kill all men comes from the societal perspective that all men are bad. Many of the people who agree with these …

A.) if anyone here said that feminists are violent evil bigots, know that most of us don’t believe that and especially not me. B.) These so-called “incels” have committed mass shootings and stuff yes. Generally this is more red-pill than MRAs. This is also a small minority. And these “incels” are people that are suffering from serious mental health problems. While this doesn’t excuse their actions, it does suggest that there’s a problem going on here if so many men (as you said) relate to these …

I only know of one study that found this, and in fact “women are more nice” was not the conclusion they reached. “Women do it for attention” is a little closer but still inaccurate. However that study did concluded that women were more likely to commit parasuicidal attempts as a way of calling for help. This doesn’t mean “women don’t take it seriously and just do it for attention”, and women’s suicide should be taken seriously as well. It’s a complicated topic that’s hard to state objectively an…

I don’t see why it’s so hard to understand why someone would dislike being treated as nothing but a monster and a threat. This poster isn’t just demeaning, it’s dehumanizing. Need I remind you that dehumanization has been the first step in countless genocides in the past. Not saying that men will be victims of genocide, just that dehumanizing an entire group of people is wrong.

Fun fact, most people in real life won’t be like this. The internet has a lot of idiots and radicals. If they refuse to have a proper argument, then just don’t. There’s other good subreddits, other websites, or just people irl.

“It’s an MRA tactic” Guys holy shit advocating for men’s rights is a Men’s Rights Advocacy tactic. Notice how the assumption is made that MRAs are bad to begin with.

First of all, I agree with you. It’s important that we look at both sides of the argument, and are able to understand and have conversations with both. However that 97% is in fact false/misleading. There are probably some posts about it on this sub. I do think that telling you to break up is a really strange response. However I fully encourage you to talk about this with your girlfriend more. Not in a hostile way, just discuss it. It’s great to be able to talk with people who disagree with you.

I don’t think it’s really women’s fault, it’s a social conditioning. Women aren’t really in any more danger than men, sometimes less, but society tells us that women are weak and need to be careful and protected, while men are strong and can fight back.

Men hate each other is… an interesting take. I don’t hate other men. Most men I know don’t hate other men. Yeah sure I’m competitive, but I can still work and groups and so can most people. Humans are social creatures, its human nature to cooperate.

There have been people in this sub “whine about women” as well though. I guess he might be referring to that. I’ve seen some generalizations that make me a little wary of this sub. I support men’s rights and everything, some people seem to think that that means at the expense of women’s rights.

Crying is a completely normal way to express emotion, and there’s nothing wrong with it. I will say that the best thing you can do when people act like this is to realize how they made you fell and why, and try and move past it. Don’t ignore your feelings, but figure out why they made you feel that way. Ignoring your feelings does nothing.

Because in this situation it’s the man that’s abusing and the women thats treating the man like shit but not being abusive. It’s goes both ways, but I don’t have to outline every scenario all the time.

Yes. His sisters should try to heal the relationship as well. And if they give up on it, he should leave. But they should always try to solve the problem first before giving up. Relationships matter enough that they are worth trying to keep.

I don’t think it’s right for the man to abuse the woman, but it’s not right for the woman to treat the man like shit. Maybe there is such a thing as a two-sided situation? 🤯

A lot of people downvoted this, I still agree. Of course we don’t have to full picture. The first step shouldn’t be to sever all ties. The first step would be to try and fix the problem and fix the relationship. If that fails, then your left with no other options.

With the sport teams, the salary is based on how much money the team brings in, aka number of fans. The men’s teams are basically giving free money to the women’s team from their revenue to increase salary.

I think the reason Andrew Tate is blasted for having a lot of money is because of the things he says, not because he’s a man. However I agree with the rest, and I think it’s because men being successful no longer shows people that that man worked hard. People will instead say “you’re only rich because of the patriarchy” downplaying all of the work they did to get to that point. Thus that money shouldn’t be theirs, and shouldn’t be spent on themselves. It’s a really horrible way of thinking.
/r/MensRights27/08/23 08:55 AM

I don’t think it’s just because she’s a woman, though I fed like that could be part of it. Just like how men speaking up for feminism helps the movement a lot, women speaking up about men’s rights shows that these are real problems.

We don’t need to push for girls in education. They have it. Women are disadvantaged in many places but NOT EDUCATION.
/r/MensRights24/08/23 09:48 PM

Yes, but when talking about pros and cons it’s not really a good example. How about men being over represented in engineering? Less likely to be raped/SA’d? Huge human right differences in many countries? There are so many better talking points.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 09:46 PM

You said that “on average doesn’t mean biological difference”. I showed you that it can.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:45 PM

It’s not a feeling of superiority really. I just like to teach people. No ill intent or selfishness there.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:43 PM
3

The point I was making is that there are biological differences that make men on average better at something’s. The same is true for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:37 PM
4

So does men being stronger on average point to a biological difference?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:18 PM
1

Not everything biologically is caused by genes alone. But also just because it hasn’t been discovered doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. The reason being biology makes sense is all I’m saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:12 PM
2

That… makes no sense. Only recently have women gained that option, so it makes sense that a biological instinct would still be around as not enough time has passed for humans to re-adapt.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 04:17 PM
0

Evolution causes different species to adapt differently, but also different genders. Women have always been the main caretakers because they gave birth to the children. Men are stronger on average because they were the hunters and protectors. It’s not much of a stretch to say women have more maternal instincts and are better at caretaking because of this same adaptation.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 04:13 PM
2

I don’t think men make shitty parents, and I don’t think they shouldn’t even try. People seem to have misunderstood what I meant. Studies show that on average, women are better caretakers than men. This is because women and men’s Brains are built slightly differently. This doesn’t mean that you have to follow this all the time, but on average this will be the case.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 04:08 PM
1

Studies show that women have certain traits and men have others in average. Men and women have slightly different brains.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 03:05 PM

Some of these double standards are dumb, and need to be changed. But the child raising expectations for example DONT need to be changed. We should view this as a rule, not every woman needs to be that, but biologically woman are better at raising children.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 02:45 PM

I’m sorry that first one annoys me so much. Boys don’t care about school? What world are you living in? We work in school. We don’t just goof around. We care about our education. It’s wrong to say that “boys don’t care about school” you’re basically saying that boys are bad a learning, stupid, and it’s their fault that they aren’t succeeding in school. It’s difficult to abolish the draft in the us specifically , because the us relies on its military power heavily. It’s not good, but politically …

Men might be in power more, but women have more social power. They group together, and call anything they disagree with “misogynistic”. Men don’t do that.
/r/MensRights24/08/23 07:53 AM

No it’s not. The world is not gynocentric. Men and women have disadvantages and it’s important to realize that. The problem I have is when these problems are overstated to say “we’re oppressed” wether it’s men or women saying that.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 07:50 AM

“This is colossally stupid” Really. That’s all you could say. Come on at least give a solid argument. “That’s because they give birth” Men have less rights to their child than women, even though it’s their child as well. However, your point does still stand. “So can men” Men are more likely to be called a creep than women, simply because of the stereotype of men being sexual assulters, pedophiles, etc. “There are men only scholarships as well” Not many. Having a men only scholarship would be con…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 07:48 AM

And why is it a good thing for men that they are leading in criminal behavior? This isn’t an advantage for men. And meanwhile, men are more likely to be the victims of violent crime. Ofc men and women have pros and cons, but the examples you gave aren’t very good.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 07:37 AM

It just makes no sense. How can a system that is set up to help men be set up to harm men? The only system in place here is elitism. Rich men help rich men.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 07:34 AM
1

Which is why I said there’s a fine line. As populations grow, innovation increased and productivity skyrockets, but eventually this trend flattens out and populations hit “the sweet spot”, not too many and not too little.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 07:52 PM

Humanity doesn’t work without humans. More people=more of basically everything. There is a fine line between the sweet spot and overpopulation.

I recently posted about this on a feminist subreddit, and just go absolutely slammed. “It’s the patriarchy, it’s not a men’s rights problem, it’s the method of suicide, women have it harder”. And when I share data: “it’s a biased study!” You can’t win with them.
/r/MensRights22/08/23 01:29 PM
19

This is the thing that everyone should understand. Women have problems that they face, but it’s not the fault of patriarchy. You can’t just shift the blame onto one entity. It’s the fault of everyone.
/r/MensRights21/08/23 09:48 PM
24

Of course it’s not, but what equality are they still fighting for? If they want equality they have equality. They can go fight on the frontlines if they want to, and do whatever they want to with their life.
/r/MensRights19/08/23 07:23 AM
2

Yes men are generally in positions of power, but I think it’s important to realize that all MEN are not in power. It’s not a patriarchy. It’s rich people (usually) who are in power, not men, and men can’t be blamed for what a small group of elite rich and powerful men do.
/r/MensRights18/08/23 11:06 AM

Biologically men are better at analytical thinking which is probably why this is happeneing. I think.
/r/MensRights18/08/23 12:54 AM

The whole premise of this is that men don’t care about women’s rights but women care about men’s rights. The reality is the EXACT OPPOSITE. Men have to care about women’s rights, and I do, but women don’t have to care about men.

I would avoid using the word matriarchal for the same reasons that we hate feminists for using the word patriarchy. It’s really not a good representation of the systems and world we live in.

Allow me to try and fix the other guys arguments. In don’t think the point is that feminists support female predators, but rather that the feminist culture and the believe all women stuff, as well as a long held stigma of men being raped combined with radical feminists calling all men trash and potential rapists results in instances of men getting raped to be put down, and female predators getting smaller sentences.
