She thinks that it's important to recognize patriarchy is perpetuated by both men and women. She thinks that the myth of women as being always the passive and the oppressed men being always the active and the oppressor . 1	Problems with the current notion of privilege I think the notion of privilege you're criticizing isn't the dominant model. Of course, some laypeople can be quite confused about these things and have weird takes. Intersectionality acknowledges that privilege isn't a one-dimensional thing. People can be privileged and oppressed in many different ways. For example, one's culture putting social pressure on women to submit to their husbands is a benefit for men.
