Once my ex-wife got all the leverage then her true colors came out, and she didn't have to play nice at all. Before, she would use tears and manipulation to get what she wanted. Thank goodness I fought for what was fair. Because I had to completely rebuild my life after.

Just heard Dave Ramsey mention 4 things that can cause people to get a divorce. People need to align on these before considering getting married. And get marriage or couples counseling before getting engaged. Money In-laws Children Religion All of these became a reason why I'm divorced.

I'm so sorry about that. I stayed in the marital home till it was finalized cause I had lost my job. I was able to negotiate directly with my soon to be ex. She wanted it over asap so she could stop paying my living expenses. And so I would have to move.

You have to dig deep and find the strength to fight for what's fair and your future. You're not just fighting for you. You're also fighting for your kids' future with you. Married women make dating profiles all the time for attention seeking. Half the time, they have zero plans on talking to anyone.
