No where in that article does it talk about women trying to get the test banned.

What? They are only out of a job if the employer stops paying them.

No, the point is, they are a bubble if they hire non livable wages. Farms like this need to downscale or these farms shouldn't exist.

They are. The year might have to down scale, but they are.

This is an economics question. Basically when you raise labor cost to a fair wage you must increase price or shrink your profits margin. That's just part of owning a business. Increasing price may be bad idea because demand may shrink. Decreasing profits doesn't hurt anyone except the owner, really it just slows down their companies growth. Not really a hard price to pay to keep your workers happy.

They weren't fucked. They were just being told they can't spread slavery west. They rebelled because they wanted to expand their influence in congress and include more slave states. They jumped the gun and preemptively seceded because they assumed Lincoln would outlaw slavery (he wouldn't have, he was a Free Soiler not an Abolitionist). They were fucked after the war when the North didn't properly reconstruct the south. This is where the hate sentiment towards the north really began to fester a…

Why is she even being considered for trial if she has already admitted it? To find out how extensive her sentence should be?

I feel like comparing circumcision to the right to abortion is a little ironic.

I always wondered why establishments can get away with charging different amounts of money based on gender, especially for non-gender specific things.

I don't understand. I was never taught as a young boy that rape was OK? Are people teaching there kids rape is OK? Or is it just the fact that rapist exist and there is no real way to curb completely besides protecting ourselves...

Actually it's a pretty popular misconception that only men, or very few women, get heart disease. I think this poster is trying to break that misconception more then being sexist or feminist.

Wait so 2/3 males are circumcised and that means we are suffering more simply from shear numbers and not actual suffering. As a circumcised male I'm ok with circumcision because I lack bad judgement and not because it literally no impact on my sex life. Women circumcision is not worse because less women are having it done.... Those aren't arguments at all for being against male circumcision all you did was try and make male circumcision sound some how worse (it's definitely not) and your only ar…

So now every man who was circumcised as a boy is dehumanized and it causes them horrific suffering. God dammit listen to yourself. I'm circumcised and have not thought at anytime in my life ANY of the ideas you claim. In fact it you asked the majority of men who have been circumcised if they have had any of those claims (without first being indoctrinated in to your views of it) I would you would find that there are none! Because it's not a real problem. We don't care. The most anyone ever thinks…

Yup, sorry man. Not a real issue. If you thought about it long enough you might think so too.

My point was for us to destroy the movement before feminist get the chance too. I would like to fight for real rights rather then what our dicks look like. 7 year old lying dead in a pool of blood... I addressed that too, I am not against malpractice. Hope whatever doctor did that is in jail. That is some striking imagery you mention that hopefully you would not have made up just to win an argument (no matter how bad of a strawman argument it is.) So lets see this picture of a kid dead in a pool…

This is it. This is the topic that, if it grows any more, will become a crutch for those against us. This is why others will trivialize us, simply because we are complain about something about our dicks that cause absolutely no real problems. Aside from those who have been actually injured or mutilated, there is no cause here. This isn't a real issue. Give it up please before you make us all look like idiots!

/r/MensRights11/09/13 11:47 PM

Your using that wrong. You see cognitive dissonance implies that I hold two differant conflicting opinions that I am aware of and as such creates a discomfort. I'm quite comfortable with my "mutilated penis" and I am ok with "cunts" like my mom deciding to go through with the procedure. I think you are the one actually experiencing cognitive dissonance. See, because you (I assume) are uncircumcised and you live in a world were some people might prefer circumcision and you feel ashamed about your…

Congrats. I think you just detoured me from ever supporting your cause based solely on this asshole reply. You defiantly solidified my belief that this issues is completely idiotic and only people like you who have something wrong in their head will ever support. Thanks for swaying my vote. Edit: btw I didn't care on a single one of those links. What a wasted effort on your part.

If you can convince me that my circumcision was a mistake by my parents (who I thank wholeheartedly) and that I would be better off having never gotten for whatever reason. Then maybe I could understand. So help me understand. You don't even have to use me as your argument. Find me someone, anyone who is mad at their parents for having them circumcised. I'm not taking about botched. I'm taking about a true blue circumcised person who actually regrets it and is furious about it.

People might complain if it effected their sex life in anyways such as with vaginal mutilation. But it doesn't. In fact it does absolutely nothing one way or the other. It isn't the same argument.

This argument is such a waste of time and resources. r/mensrights has more pressing matters then what our dicks look like.

Why the fuck are these questions on here anyways? Who the fuck would admit to raping someone on a college application?

So every sexcapade that is done drunkenly is now rape. Which party is the victim?
