It all comes down to how one interprets the Bible. What is for certain, though, is that the Old Testament is home to the heavier verses regarding women (death by stoning for adultery, anyone?). With China slowing down the purchasing of US Treasuries (of which they hold more than any other foreign government) and introducing the petroyuan, it's plain to see that China are more concerned with usurping the dollar as the reserve currency. Such a move is vastly more advantageous to them in the long run.
