Yeah, I have already thought through other ways that it would affect my life, and what I think my life realistically will look like. The geography in these places tends to be a bit on the arid and tropical sides - like Mexico or the southern part of America, as a reference point. And, in keeping with the local architecture, the house I will probably end up living in is a two or three bedroom one-story house made of stone, stucco, and terracotta. If in Morocco, then somewhere a few miles from Cas…

When I was a young man, I had a lot of energy and excellent intentions. But, I caused a lot of collateral damage due to being too hasty. I have since calmed down, and definitely work smarter, not harder. I apply this to all aspects of my life, from my career, to grocery shopping, to replacing the floors in my house. Patience is the key here. Long spans of time doing things - usually by yourself - with no guarantee of any sort of reward or success. Also, preparation and forethought. It is definit…

Eh, that doesn't matter, especially since he was handsome enough that women overlooked the whole serial killer thing.

To be honest, I actually kinda don't care any more. We're talking about the people who ignore me, and even castigate me, just for being a straight white male. They are too stupid, immature, or naive to realize that nothing happens in a vacuum. Society isn't some real-time strategy computer game you can just force some change onto without expecting other consequences to happen. When you take an action in the world, there will be intended and unintended results. A plus B equals C1, C2, and C3 To g…

No, of course men don't have it easier than women, dating-wise. Don't be ridiculous. Women are now the gatekeepers to both sex and relationships. Those men that you are talking about are the top 20 percent of men that all the women are sharing. In order for your assertion to be true, you have to ignore 80 percent of men. What do you get when you participate in that kind of rotation? You get what you deserve. There is no sympathy coming from the MGTOW sphere for either you or your women. I am abo…

First, just gotta say it, but Destiny is an ass, and Fresh and Fit are no different than Jerry Springer. Not sure why a Fresh and Fit segment was posted in a subreddit for Destiny, unless that is a sign of how mainstream this topic is becoming. But, yes. I would certainly give her a chance. Everyone can reform. My own past is pretty cringey myself. I wouldn't judge her, but I would tiptoe around her until I was sure that she was being honest and genuine.

This woman disagrees. Inb4 you state that she never says the word "settle", she actually says something worse. She says that she "won't accept less". Yuck.

I'm against abortions. Just so that we set the record straight here, a miscarriage is not an abortion - even a medically induced one. My sister had a medically induced miscarriage because the fetus had died. No heartbeat. It was a horrible experience for her to go through, but it was kind of the only option, and it could have threatened her life if they had done nothing. She has since had an extremely healthy baby who is now an extremely precocious and unstoppably active toddler. (By the way, it…

How does a woman decide whether or not she's willing to work with her partner or not?

So, Settling = not willing to compromise Compromising = being willing to compromise

This is very true. The advent of social media irrevocably have changed both sexes. Women now use Instagram-standards as a baseline for a mate, and men have been communicating with other men about how shallow and hypocritical women tend to be.

The the only thing they want to ascend to is getting catered to and getting to fuck every once in a while. They have no goals or interests beyond that. This is very telling right here, and, unfortunately, not an uncommon opinion of men. It's also highly inaccurate for the vast majority of men. It demonstrates a grievous misunderstanding of men. There is nothing wrong with catering to your significant other. I would go so far as to say that it's a necessary part of a relationship. And, could even…

Because those men that these women think they are "settling" for are usually their equals. They just don't want to be strapped to someone who is their equal.

Literally every other sentence in your post. You reiterated with the one sentence of your post that said it might be okay to compromise, sometimes. When you do have disagreements with your husband what to do, or how to do it, how are those settled, if not by compromising? If you don't get your way, would you classify it as you having "settled"?

It's not the guiding force, but sometimes the two of you will have different ideas, needs, or wants - sometimes in direct conflict with each other. Since we now know that you refuse to compromise, or even compromise on the idea of being with someone who is willing to compromise, then we know who, between you and your husband, is actually doing the compromising.

Bullshit. It's women that are constantly telling other people that they aren't going to settle, as if it's a bad thing. Men pick up on the negative usage of the word, and don't appreciate it. Why not use the word "compromise" instead?

But, do you hear women use the word "compromise" at all lately?

No, women gatekeep sex AND relationships. Now THAT is a good point. Controversial, but good. You don't speak very highly of men at all, and your opinion seems to be that men don't get much of a say in relationships - and probably shouldn't. Is that reasonable? I have met women in the past couple years where there was mutual attraction, and I showed interest in a committed relationship with them. But, they declined me. All other factors being equal, any thoughts on that?

Have you heard many women say that you have to compromise in a relationship? Or, do you vastly more often hear that women should not settle. The point is that the word "settle" is way overused - much more than by just chance.

And what would some of those things look like?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/23 03:16 AM

Again with that word "settle". What happens when the two of you disagree on what to do?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/23 03:08 AM

Naw. What I'm talking about is that, even though women are the gatekeepers to sex, and men are the gatekeepers to relationships, women still tend to "nope" out of any sort of reciprocation - even for men who are better than them. "What do you mean, 'better than them'?" you might ask. Most women prefer that a man is taller than them, stronger than them, and makes more money than them. If so, then how is that woman equal to that man? Relationships are naturally lopsided towards women. Using biased…

I obviously agree that women do complain about this, everyone has seen it, but I disagree on the premise. I have had first dates with a few women over the past couple years who had not been in any relationships for a while. It seems that the longer a woman waits for a relationship, the more she expects that relationship to provide for them - as if she thinks that there is a guy out there right now, who she hasn't met yet, just working parallel to her, preparing his life for when they meet. So, n…
