It sounds like you have your mind made up on what you want to do here. But, I’d say don’t pursue it, let something happen ‘organically’ (naturally). This has a higher likelihood of you finding something stable and compatible than hopping on some dating apps, etc. and hoping for the best while navigating all of the complexities of dissolving your marriage. My wife was unfaithful many times and finally left me for her last affair partner. Despite her being the type of individual she is and what sh…

Smells of my soon-to-be-ex-wife… which also smells like BPD. I haven’t had an attorney involved with my stuff, but my (ex)wife directly said/did similar things.

Completely agree. I legitimately thought I had something wrong with me. Zero drive. I mean, I tried solo work a couple of times and nothing. I got really frustrated. I’m not a porn dude as it is, but I tried that once or twice and zero help there (not a surprise). I had bloodwork done, etc. No smoking gun there. It was disheartening. I remember venting to my brother and telling him I had a dead dick, lol. I had a lot of emotional/mental trauma with my ex-wife. It tanked confidence and sex drive.…

For anyone I am close to, I only have them saved as their first name. For everyone else, it’s their first and last name. To me, it feels too formal to have had my wife saved with her first and last name. When we split, I had her saved as a few different things, but one of my kids saw it and asked who it was so, I changed it to her first and last name as I do anyone else I don’t consider to be significantly close to. It certainly isn’t as satisfying as some of the shit I’d like to use...

Similar thing happened to me. I had a singular barf emoji for the name. One of my kids saw it when they were using my phone and asked who that was. I had to revert back to her name because I didn’t want my kids seeing me be so petty.

Man… I know every person and every relationship is different and that it isn’t good to make generalizations. But, my story in summary: . Wife cheated on me about 18-months before getting married. Took her back. . Wife had affair with coworker after we were married for almost 9-years. I begged for her to work on things. She didn’t end the affair, HE did. She claimed she regretted it and apologized AFTER he ended things. 1-month later, she was at it again with another coworker. She moved out for a…

Yes. But, the only downside of the letter is there is no proof you gave it. A text from you with a response from her acknowledging the content of your text is probably better… Goodluck, man.

Recommend you not do anything with her job. What does that get you? This could be construed as having malicious intent or, at minimum, just looks like a bitter and spiteful spouse and wouldn’t do you any favors in court. Also, if you are in grad school, do you work? Does she make more? Her working and you having proof of her affair and threats could award you with spousal support/alimony. If she does not have her job, this hurts you all (including your son). I do recommend you NOT be the one to …

If this was a joint account, it’s considered marital (or community) property. This is illegal. Considering your evidence and her statements, you can prove malicious intent and she could be ordered from the court to repay you half of what she took (minus half of the amount she left).

I appreciate how you just said the same thing I did in my response but, so much more concise and direct. Lol.

Personally, I think this largely depends on ‘the why’ of the separation/divorce. My wife and I separated (first time) in April 2021 by her choosing following affair #1. I was devastated; in such shock and desperate to make things work for the sake of the whole of our family. She was the opposite. It took about a month before things started settling in as reality. But, I was still a sloppy and mentally/emotionally fragile mess. She eventually came back under less-than-ideal circumstances maybe 6-…
