I obviously care. I am honestly in love with this girl. The problem comes when I care so much and am so outcome-oriented that I am filled with expectation and fear of not being with her...

What makes a non-personal opener better than a personal or a direct opener? Also, when you open indirectly do you always transition to being direct shortly thereafter as I did? Thanks for the help man.

Why not make small talk after being forward? Don't you want to build comfort and qualify her? I mean, I guess I already built comfort at the granola, but shouldn't I still qualify so it doesn't seem like the only thing I am interested in is her body? That is what I was trying to do during the small talk. I asked her what her job was (pharmacist) and then threaded from there (Do you like that work? How did you become a pharmacist?). I probably should have mentioned that in my post.

The second one, but the problem I am having with it is making myself smile before the eye contact ends (because most people quickly look away)

Do you walk around smiling or do you only smile once you make eye contact?

Hey thanks for the advice man, this actually really helped me understand the situation better and is actually kind of a freeing mindset to have since it's just sort of "if you want it go for it" kind of thing. I think I already understood that to a degree, but it is easier to imagine myself doing it then to actually do it.

I really don't think you could call what we have FZ. We've made out multiple times and frequently cuddle / give massages.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
