Not mentioning her age in this context is so sketchy and the fact that no one here has asked makes this sub look so sketchy

My read would be that she got off on getting your attention but wasn't actually into you.

if she hasn't shut down your convo, I'd just lean into this man. "I'd love to do better next time! I'm a good student." Maybe find some openings for a yes ma'am or two lol

Yeah man I mean I just wouldn't have sex on those terms tbh. It seems like she had little confidence in your ability to manage things based on what had happened to that point, and her solution was to just take charge and try to kinda force it. That was never going to have a positive outcome lol. But hey, got the first one out of the way. Congrats bro lol

Ah I gotcha, you were struggling to keep it up, it's cool man. Don't sweat it. Very common for a first time. I'm curious about how the sex actually started. So she does her verbal initiation; "Do you wanna do it?" What happened after that? Making out? Then you tried to use hands or mouth but she insisted you put it in, then you struggled with penetration for a short while and called it off? My advice in the future would be to come with a foreplay plan, strategies for oral and hand stuff, and go …

No one here can tell you what happened with any certainty. She may have been really horny, or really desperate, and pushed past her reservations while next to you in bed. She may have been endeared by your lack of pressure and felt safe with you. I think it's very likely that she planned to have sex that night, and ultimately just followed through with that plan despite your not helping things along much, lol. You'd really just have to ask her, and I'd encourage doing that! You already told her …

Spoken like a man who is constantly trying (unsuccessfully) to prove his own masculinity to himself

Particularly in marriage or long term relationships, don't rule out that he has something to do with her sex appeal. A 10 can easily shrink down to a 7 if she doesn't care to keep the fire alive, and a 6-7 can become a 9 if she's motivated by great sex to exercise, dress and act in ways conducive to sex. My wife and I got married at 20 and 21 in a religious context. She was pretty but very sexually repressed and inexperienced. After 11 years of ever improving-sex, even with 3 kids, I swear she h…

This is better than the verbally acknowledged escalations IMO. If she's forced to say it but she's still exploring the idea or on the fence, she's likely to get spooked. Physical escalations taken tactfully are much more subtle but actually do more to define the change in the relationship. Read her. If she doesn't recoil from touch or especially if she seems to lean into it, linger. Hug her from the waist, not the shoulders. Hand on the small of her back when walking through doorways. I really t…

Context and tact are important here. You can't just throw out "I'm trying so hard not to kiss you right now" to a woman who has no interest in kissing you, it sounds like you're trying to keep yourself from SAing her. For me, the escalation was always physical before verbal. It doesn't have to be a far gap between friendly hugs to lazy arms around each other and playing with each other's hands and arms to actually holding hands, touching waists, lingering longer. Follow cues and don't hesitate t…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
