I feel I have to walk on Eggshells around her My dude, this is probably the biggest indicator. As someone born in Russia (lived there for 8 years) I learned Sambo from an early age and was lucky enough to find a (Russian) Sambo gym not too far from the city I moved to in the US. I strongly recommend any form of combat sports - including BJJ.

What about being a high school football coach makes someone an alpha? Out of the ~12 coaches I had when I was in high school, I would say maybe 2 exemplified alpha behavior. I can probably extend this to the Pop Warner coaches I had and rival high school coaches I knew about.

On top of what others have said, you can look ahead at your sophomore schedule and try to learn about some of the topics you may cover. Start glossing over job and internship postings in the areas you want to live & work in after graduation so you can get an idea of what to work towards in school.

You would still need to put your mos/rating/afsc (job code in US military). I'd think you would still have to prove you were in the military if they asked/background check.
