Yes. No teen should have to spend 30 years of their life behind bars. Gender does not change that.

A 19 year old could go to prison for 32 years, and it's celebrated as a victory. Can you really argue that the fair punishment for this crime is taking away a teenagers 20's, 30's, and 40's? Try to think of every memory you've had in the last decade. Replace them all with the same exact prison routine. If you still think the punishment fits the crime, you haven't truly grasped how long a decade is.

No, not really. When you have a sample size of a few thousand people, a few above or below average individuals won't impact the overall trend. You shouldn't expect a 10% difference, unless women are being treated unfairly or they are collectively biologically inferior to men when it comes to the skills required to succeed in a STEM field.

"Men choose the highest-paid specializations" But why? Did you ever stop to think what cultural/societal forces might be at work to encourage men into these professions, and/or pressure women away from them? Also, women in STEM fields make roughly 10% less than their male counterparts. Even if you chose a high paying profession, you are likely to earn less than your male peers. Source

Seriously, you should read The Reddiquette. It's the informal agreement saying that you will Adhere to the same standards of behavior online that you follow in real life. That being said, here's what I think. You came in here looking for a fight. You hoped, that by coming here, you would be able to curse and berate someone for not having the right opinion (or rather, your opinion). You were so focused on letting me know how inferior my knowledge is to yours that you didn't even consider that I m…

Wow, aggressive. It turns out people are a lot less likely to have a civil discussion with you when you start throwing insults like "Generalizing Dipshit". Also, I didn't ask for you to stand up for me, so don't complain about not getting showered with praise for something I did not ask for. I'm still trying to figure out why it matters that you "have a vagina". Would you care to elaborate on why that is a relevant piece of information?

I really think describing this Tweet as anything other than the consensus opinion of every woman on the planet would not be adequate. Edit: /s. Because insane people don't understand sarcasm.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
