Get legally married again? I don’t see that happening. Not for a long time. She would have be to independently wealthy and there would have to be a very in depth and comprehensive prenuptial agreement in play.

Not everyone has our experience. I know many marriages that are successful. I understand that we have all been through a lot. My divorce has officially crossed $200,000 and 35 months of litigation. I got another 50 K to go approximately. So I speak from experience. That Said I know couples that are happily married and have their families intact and they are building their lives together. And I also know that a lot of people would not have a divorce as nasty as mine. Just because we suffered does…

How old is she? Does she have kids of her own? Do you want more kids? These are the questions you need to ask yourself. Pump the brakes.

It’s part of the transition process. Heal. Take your time. Do the things you want to do. It gets better I promise you. I am 32 months post separation. Was with my wife for 11 years. 2 kids. High conflict divorce wiped me out financially. I’m still here. In great shape. Healthy. Strong in my faith. Living single. I have dated here and there but Im comfortable being alone and it’s a great place to be. I have full agency of my life.

Take your time learn how to be single again learn to rebuild your identity outside of a relationship. You’ll thank yourself in the future. You can avoid a destructive rebound that will trap you.

I have them every Wednesday after school till Thursday evening. And then I have them every other weekend from Friday until Monday morning. So my weekends are three nights when I do have. I think it comes out to 60/40. It’s a very good schedule. In addition, I go to virtually all the practices that are on Mom’s time. I see my kids as much as possible.

This is simply your nervous system being worn out and exhausted. Take your time. Take your time to heal your heart. Divorce is traumatic. But you will find your groove again. It might take you several years and that’s okay. Don’t force it. Do not force it at all. Ignore women on a romantic basis. Work on yourself work on your hobbies work on your income work on your faith. Treat women as friends if you want. I have a few female friends. I have had two relationships since my divorce. I’m on a pau…

I’m with you man. I didn’t date the first year. After the 12th month I ended up in a rebound that lasted 6 months. She tried to take over my life. I dumped her. I then took a few months off. Then I went on a online dating frenzy. Went out with over 20 girls. Banged a few. They ALL WANTED A RELATIONSHIP. Went hard stop again. Back into monk mode. Enjoying my freedom.

I can tell you that my ex-wife was dysfunctional from the very beginning. I picked her knowing what she was. I think a lot of of us did that and we were wearing the love blinders.

Thank you for sharing. There are healthy people out there. It’s just really hard to find them in your 40s, especially when you’ve already had kids. For me dating is very hard because I have two boys and I just don’t want them to meet anybody. I have quite a bit of Custody so it’s hard for me to navigate a relationship with everything else going on in my life, including work and parenting and my friends and my hobbies. I’ve chosen to stay single for the time being.

Sorry to hear about your struggles. First and foremost, stop snapping. You need some anger management. And you need it NOW. You need to enroll NOW. Find the nearest program and start doing it. Two benefits of this: 1. You will learn to control yourself better. 2. You will have documented your attempts and bettering one self. This marriage is going to end. The question is when. When she learns that she can no longer bait you one of two things will happen. She will either calm down or she will tur…

Enjoy your time alone. Make your kids the priority. Soon they will be grown and they won’t be kids anymore. Women come and go. It’s not easy being a step parent I’ve been on the other side of it. Just take your time and don’t rush into something new.

Wow. You know some people are REALLY good at hiding how they really feel. Your wife very much most likely has been harboring these feelings for years dude. Probably at least 2 full years maybe more. Sometimes it’s nearly impossible to see the signs because they hide their feelings so well. It’s not healthy to be able to wear such a mask. Anyways I hope you will have a swift recovery

Oh wow 30 ways in this is brand new. Sorry about that. I remember when mine was this fresh. I filed and I was forced to file in a very hostile environment. Our divorce exploded into high conflict. 130k spent in 15 months dude. Do you have kids?

I filed 3.5 months ago. Separated since end of June. I’ve become pretty numb myself. I still feel the emotion of anger but other than that it’s hard to feel anything. My case has been difficult. I live with her still AND with her 16 year old daughter that’s been turned to hate me. It’s 2-1 but I’m still here

Sorry you are going through this. At least by meeting someone you can get her off your ass. In the meantime your son can she what a piece of work their mom is. You stay the calm, sensible and responsible parent. Let her get sucked in the new relationship. Cling to your son and I hope he will cling right back to you

Let it out brother. I cried heavy. And it helped. I cried heavy on 5 occasions. It’s good. Find a sad song on YouTube and it will help I promise

I was the one that filed. I was the one that voiced the divorce. But I didn’t want it. She forced my hand with her lies and drinking and chaos. We have a family and I wanted to keep us under the same roof. But she’s too fucked up. I feel your pain bro. Stop messaging her. Leave her be. Let the pain out and cry. Don’t try to get back with her again. If she wants you back she will voice that. Good luck

Im a lawyer and i work with a divorce lawyer who is a friend. I see the cases where the men get involved with a new woman and their custody cases get so messy. The new lose focus on their kids. In addition, the new women take control and make the issues even worse!

I think men are highly susceptible to falling into a rebound relationship. This is a dangerous setup because if you are vulnerable you can end up with someone who is not good for you. Especially if you have kids. If you have kids you have to take things slow and give the kids time to adjust to the new reality.
