I’m not sure how these EPQs work as I live in America, but if you need someone to proofread or provide feedback I’d be happy to help. But to answer your question I think that displaying how men’s mental health and woman’s mental health are treated. I know that in the mental hospital in my city they’re opening a woman’s only wing for pregnant women and victims of abuse, but all men get put into the general wing for both men and women.

I mean if you don’t want to talk with u/EmirikolWoker that’s fine but you can still respond to the rest of us.

If you remember your original post claims that we don’t talk with feminists because we think they don’t talk/listen, and you’re a feminist that won’t listen. Not to mention that MRAs don’t mind talking with feminists if they’re reasonable people, it’s like anything else.

Really? Just really? Instead of trying to understand what we’re explaining you’re going to post on r/rant and say that we’re giving you “brain cancer from the sheer stupidity”. This makes me feel like you made this post in bad faith and don’t really want to understand MRAs https://www.reddit.com/r/rant/comments/irqp91/talking_to_mras_is_a_literal_mindf/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

Ah wow I see how you flipped the genders of their argument and all of the sudden now it’s seen as misogynistic and problematic.

Because if I blame others for my problems then I can’t fix them. I recognize that the person with the biggest influence over my problems is myself.

That’s not what I’m saying at all. I never said anything about them needing to accept responsibility, what I am saying is that women are able to choose to abort the baby and thus not be responsible for it while men do not have that choice.

Doesn’t the first point fall under the right to a fair trial?

If a man says that he will not support the child while the mother is pregnant then if the mother decides to keep the child is it not her choice to be a single mother? Also I think if there is an increase in single motherhood it will be minuscule and the single motherhood problem is something that needs solving regardless of this issue. Men having the same right to choose as a woman is one issue and single motherhood is another issue, both need attention.

Sadly I have met feminists who believe in what u/EmirikolWoker is talking about and I don’t think it’s a minority of the group. Most of the feminists I’ve met have seen men as fundamentally problematic.

But you could say the same for a woman, she could’ve used a contraceptive, both parties are responsible for creating the child and yet only women have the option to give up that responsibility.

Isn’t it a double standard that women can abort babies but men can’t choose whether to pay for the child or not?

Right but the point is that these commercials aren’t representative of the average man. The average man has about the same IQ as the average woman... not that IQ even matters nor should having lower IQ be an excuse for portraying a group of people as idiots.

One comment I have is that even as a man I do fear being alone with anyone for the first time man or woman. I don’t think this is just a female thing, I think that it seems like a female thing because of all of the people talking about how violent men are how many men commit crimes etc. I do recognize that as a man I’m usually physically more intimidating than women, but whenever I’m alone with a girl for the first time I always wonder if she wants to do me harm.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
