Yeah, that's why it would be fair for the man to pay child support as well, because he only changed his mind after it was too late for the woman to change her mind. If the man knew of the pregnancy from the start and only changed his mind after the point of no return, then yes it would be fair. 3	unpopular opinion: men should have more of a say when having a child. I've thought about this a lot too and the fact that you as a man have absolutely no say in whether you want a child or not if an accident happens gives me great anxiety and is literally one of my worst nightmares. I often contemplate getting a vasectomy and I most likely will, but even then I've read that there's a chance that the tubes can grow back, which means you're still not 100% safe.
