Id just double down honestly, if i were dating at my age (35) if someone made an age comment id be like "give me another 40 years ill be in here shaking my colonoscopy bag just for you" Agree and amplify is your best counters to dumb judgment

You've got two options here: Post your own story. Story is an excuse for someone to reach back out, make it funny/interesting (doesnt have to be perfect) Snap her something relevant to you guys, a funny question, etc. Leave it at that if no response. Sidenote, slow responses is fine. If you were truly abundant and having fun, you wouldn't even notice. You're noticing because a gorgeous woman approaching you is exceedingly rare. Don't overthink it.

Im more concerned with this, albeit very small, track record of being cheated on/left. Mind sharing what happened with the second one for context?

You dont need to have it booked lol, dont worry about it As for a "hahaha" reply, you'll have to pivot a bit as that conversation is over. Send her a pic of local bar thats cheap, rundown, etc. (a pic you took yourself) and be like: "Scouting out Plan Bs in case they turn us away at the door, id let you buy me a drink here." Make it personalized (pic you took), fun, and teasing a bit. Make her a part of your world. Best advice i can give.

Hard for me to tell whether you're in the "looks and money dont matter" camp or not, given you landed someone attractive despite "height and ethnicity" logistical issues. It's honestly less about game and more about not acting like an idiot just because she's attractive. Anyone here who is average or below (myself included) that has ever interacted with an attractive woman, who doesnt immediately write themselves/her off, and who treats her exactly the same as they would treat a 2/10, will likel…

Absolutely this, and the message: "Instagram decided it wanted to help me right a wrong here and recommended you, so that I could get in the final word:" -insert callback, framed as a disagreement- (eg. "You DID steal my peanuts.") She'll immediately know who you are, laugh, and likely respond.

Basically just my type physically, personality wise, and sex drive wise. She drove down 3 hours and spent an entire weekend, and it was the best first date out of i would say 30 or so that I had been on. Really came out of nowhere honestly.

Two scenarios: Met someone who was in town, 9 hours away from home. Casual (obviously), but she was quite into me. Eventually decided I would give my ex a second chance (turned out to be a bad idea, but to be fair it was only chance two), told her upfront, had her sitting on my bed crying after. Felt bad about it, but I was upfront and honest, when I otherwise could have been sneaky about it. 9 month long FWB, similar to you, great woman and treated me like a king. Cooked dinners, beers picked u…

It seems like despite your success, you're still in your own head and a bit robotic. Its like youre sharing a meal with someone (the activity of sex) but youre not hungry or already full (the experience for yourself). You'll have to get to the bottom of whether your technique is off, youre not that into the women youre sleeping with, or youre self-pleasuring yourself to a detrimental degree.

Reality is you're never forced into transactional sex with someone you're hardly interested in. They dont want that either. Selling yourself short ain't the answer. I would've grinded on a cactus back in the day, so I get where you're coming from lol.

This has basically applied to me as well. Overthinking the entire thing is the biggest problem. Texting should only be used for basic questions on plans and jokes, when you meet up you treat the interaction like youre hanging out with a good friend, not a job interview. If they agree to come over/have you come over, you should assume they're at least halfway there, the other half being how you handle yourself. Chill, joking, not overthinking, and attentive to the conversation will get you the re…

I had decent success when I was dating, but zero success on text. I always found anything that has stories (snap/insta/fb etc) works much better, and allows for re-engagement quite often. I'd recommend moving potential candidates to apps that you have the ability to share stories on, minimized ghosting for me heavily.

Why would you see examples of the philosophy OP is talking about in real life? The guys that take this seriously are few and far between, and the examples of those that just randomly find someone "out of their league" to date without understanding there aren't leagues to begin with is even fewer.

I dont think the deciding factor on whether youre a good person or not should come down to whether it will advance your results with women, theres no world where being those things would be a negative, so theres really no reason to debate it.

If i had to put a percentage on it, maybe 70% of first dates where either of us went to the others house, I went to their house. I had my own place but it was a bit dumpy and had a mattress on the floor at the time. I actually had a 9 month FWB that never seen my place, so YMMV.

+1 on the alcohol thing. Again, never okay to get someone intoxicated enough to the point where they can't consent, BUT 1-2 drinks to lighten the mood, chat, get to know each other in a general sense, and show that you're not a complete psycho. A lot of women are scared of men, and rightfully so. Ask women about their online dating horror stories if you want to see for yourself, it makes for good conversation and helps reinforce that you're (hopefully) not a weirdo like them.

The only three factors you can really look at to decide whether it's worth it or not are: Are you in a position to take this "next step", next step being a financial/time investment, where you've already put the time and effort in to learn the basics. There's no point paying such a price if you're still stuck on approach anxiety for example. Do you have an idea what you need to or would like to work on? Are you in a place where the areas you need to improve on could be worked on without such an …

Treat dates like a dinner/drink out with a good friend instead of a job interview. Plant seeds for 2nd date, "I've done ___ its fun as heck, we should totally try it next time" Be funny. Couple things to work on anyway.

There's a difference between what he said and saying something like "did you see Girl Bs ass, I'd peel that onion and cry tears of pleasure my guy, she's a fuckin smokeshow" Its a harmful thought process to be stuck in.

This also applies to disqualifying women whom you know you find attractive, but because you're afraid of rejection, you will backwards-rationalize why you won't put yourself out there and give it a try. In a sense playing to 'not lose', instead of playing to win.

I never have/had an instagram but that would likely work as well, anything you can post a story too works well as it's a low-investment way of women to see who you are and comment on things. Building an identity for them outside of 'tinder guy 42' is important.

Very much the opposite for me when I was dating, numbers never went anywhere, Snap I would send a pic with a funny comment and it would be off to the races. If I had to rely on just numbers I'd still be single LOL

Brother I invited a woman over the night after we were dancing/making out downtown and talked about work for 3 hours instead of continuing where we left off (which she was very clearly expecting to happen) because of nerves, we've all been dumb and you'll get past it. Learning experiences.

Glad that it worked out, the important thing is to never take it personally even if it does turn out to be a rejection or a missed opportunity, I've had quite a few days-later responses. Hope it goes well!

The unfortunate thing about this scenario is if you had noticed her message when she sent it and approached, it could've ended up very different 😬 by very different I mean good of course. Being in the frame of fun-interaction-in-public the night of is a lot better than Tinder Guy 41 in the morning. An out at the bar at night in-person interaction looks a lot different than a next morning text conversation. Best thing to do would be to let it be, and next time you're out at prime time (weekend, n…

Came to say this as well, I would always come up with a funny (to me, importantly) opener that was relatable to the girl in question, or alternatively something open-ended she could easily participate in. An example:

Single-era me early 2022 it was usually 2-3 seriously, anywhere up to 5-6 at a time. I used to joke that I would need a secretary because keeping up with that amount of messages is almost a part time job. I helped friends with their conversations as well if I had the time.

If thats the case, I would certainly try and make an effort to at least introduce yourself in person and work on your insta on the side. If you end up DMing her, you'll want her to say "oh that's so and so from school, he's not just some random guy in my DMs". It'll help separate you. If she's attractive she's no doubt getting messages from other guys as well.

Why are you obsessing over someone you 'rarely see'? If your standards for being attracted to someone are that low, you're going to have issues being successful.

To his point, this includes identifying where you are at present and accepting it. Too often I've seen (or heard from dates making fun of past dates) guys coming off like a first date is a job interview. You're reactive, say what you think they want to hear, and then fumble whenever it goes anywhere past the introduction and small talk. Top it off with 'not wanting the job anyway', and its a recipe for continuous failure. Anyone can take the best parts of their personality and make it work for t…

I was in a relationship limbo, and ended up rejecting someone who I was casually seeing because I wanted to make amends with a toxic ex. I never really saw a future with her in the first place, but she ended up crying while sitting on my bed, and it was the worst feeling. Eventually, I was able to walk away from the ex and reconnected with her as friends. She now has a bf and we're going on a double date with my new gf on the weekend. I'm glad she's happy and glad she wants to be friends, she's …

Looks, how you say it, and the balls to actually be that direct are all a factor. A good-looking guy could come off as a creep in this scenario, especially if she doesn't want to look easy in front of others. A lot of factors at play. Being able to come up with something like that on the spot is the real talent.

You can be confident without that though. If a guy dresses somewhat respectably, can hold a conversation, and is socially calibrated to some degree, he'll get through 90% of his interactions

Here's some proof of not being born good-looking This was 13. it took me until 28 or so to get my shit together, stop being a weirdo and realize there was more in my control than I thought. I'm hardly much better looking now, but confidence-wise I do what I want for the most part.

Personally I find it even more intoxicating when it happens, you both click, and you end up dating. Unfortunately in the state of abundance that's rare. It's easier to fake that feeling when you don't have options. Sometimes I have to reminded myself that a lot of no's is better than one yes. EditL What I mean by the last part is what you learn about yourself and what you value in someone is achieved a lot easier by constantly saying/hearing no, and eventually a yes. If you go right to the yes, …

You have two options: Obviously, cut her off Plan out a date for the two of you, but play hard to get. Don't make a move, don't kiss, if she tries anything be like "Oooh no, we're friends now, the ship has sailed". Tell her you're practicing so your next actual date is a success. Tease but be firm. Flipping the script like this will likely get her to chase you.
