Won't someone please think of the women??? I love all the comments about "what do you expect when you strip away women's bodily autonomy!!" Oh, you mean like men have never had in the first place? If lack of bodily autonomy is the reason for suicide, it's no wonder men are 80% of suicides! We never had bodily autonomy to begin with! If you're going to kill yourself if you get pregnant, prob best to not have sex.

Grown ass men "falling for" prostitutes is the oldest trick in the book. I mean... you just called it tricking men. Just because it's been going on for thousands of years doesn't make it less exploitative. I hope you say the same thing about women that are exploited into prostitution? "It's the worlds oldest profession. Since it's old, you can't be coerced into it!"
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 07:46 PM

Anyone can be manipulated. Great! So you agree that OF creators can manipulate lonely men into paying thousands of dollars to them. Glad we agree.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 07:01 PM

Are you denying that lonely men exist and that it's impossible to exploit a lonely man? So, yes, you deny this. I guess we don't even have a basis to continue here since you seem to believe that men are immune to being manipulated.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 06:55 PM

I doubt that most of the content creators have a following large enough to exploit. From what I understand, only like .1% (or some small %, not sure the actual number) of women make more than $100 a month on OF.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 06:52 PM
1

Hence the "exploit" part. Why are you under this false perception that men ALWAYS run on pure logic and no emotion? (And, before your "AlL ThE MeN HeRe sAy MeN aRe tHe LoGiCal sEx", no, I'm not one of the men that says this. Men are just as subject to bad decision making based off emotion as women.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 06:46 PM
1

Not me personally, no. But I'm not a lonely young man. But you're up in the night if you don't think advertising works. The entire field of advertising is about manipulating and exploiting people to buy their shit. Are you denying that lonely men exist and that it's impossible to exploit a lonely man?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 06:43 PM

they just profit from the leverage money gives them in this situation Not sure what this means. Who is "they" and "them"?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 06:40 PM
2

This goes much further than "just wanting to watch her butthole on camera" A lot of these OF girls create narratives where they exploit the extreme loneliness of men and use that to take his money.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 06:37 PM
3

By all means, tell me how a hot young woman telling a lonely as fuck man that he means everything to her and she's so in love with him and can he send her more money is anything BUT a scam???
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 06:36 PM
1

Huh? Explain.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 06:34 PM
2

I'm not disagreeing with you about how the porn industry is run. I agree it's full of terrible shit. But, why is it that women aren't capable of making decisions to not be exploited by porn industries, but men are fully responsible for their decisions to give money to OF creators that are exploiting their loneliness? Are women incapable of deciding to work at McDonald's instead of going into sex work?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 06:32 PM
3

Because the victims are men, nobody will care that they are being scammed. If it was any other target demographic, OF would have been shut down by now.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 06:23 PM

I did. But that movie was made for the big screen.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 06:22 PM

LOL Oh, so THESE women aren't making fully formed decisions for themselves, huh? THEY are being exploited and the porn industry should be ashamed? Christ the mental gymnastics required here.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 06:20 PM
3

You could say the same for any victim of a scam. We still denounce scammers, even if the person made a conscious decision to participate in the scam.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 06:18 PM
3

Yeah... we don't let companies scam old people either.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 06:17 PM
6

I don't think you know what exploit means. They aren't robbing them. They are falsely telling these men that they are special and how in love they are with him and "I don't know what to do... my rent is due and I don't have enough to pay for it... could you give me $1000 so I don't get evicted? YOU WILL??? This is why I'm so in love with you!!" None of this is illegal and yes, the man fully agreed to it. It's still exploitation.

I hate only fans creators because they exploit lonely men and fleece them for tens of thousands of dollars, and then have the fucking balls to say they are the exploited ones. If this were a male industry that preyed on women the same way, we'd have no end of legislation to protect poor vulnerable women because feminism treats women like they are perpetually 12 years old and incapable of making an informed decision. It's always some external factor controlling their mind that makes women do the …

Hangman in Top Gun: Maverick is a master class on holding frame. The scene where they are playing pool in the bar and Rooster attacks him for really no good reason, Hangman doesn't lose frame and fly off the handle and start throwing fists. Instead, he smiles, puts his stick down and calmly wrecks Rooster and pulls Rooster right into his frame. He legitimately does not give a single fuck how anyone else perceives him. Nothing rattles him.

CMV: All the women that say they love when their man shows emotions seem to think the only emotion that exists is crying. Showing insecurity is a death sentence far worse than crying for men. Women have no tolerance for an insecure man. This seems to be the new "incel" for women when they have no argument. "Insecure much? Such white/male fragility!" Yeah? And? What's wrong with being fragile and insecurities?

Not to mention social issues that affect women are given massive amounts of funding, but social issues that affect men, well, figure it out yourselves! Women don't owe you anything! Just look at women in STEM. Women aren't owed a job in STEM, but that didn't stop all kinds of campaigns spending billions of dollars to try and convince women they want to be in STEM. Massive suicide, opioid addictions and homelessness? It's not our job to fix men's problems!!

Watch all the hidden camera social experiments where the guy is verbally abusing his girlfriend vs the girl physically AND verbally abusing the boyfriend. Mormons very much do this to men. Men have the responsibility to be worthy priesthood holders that can channel the power of god through blessings. Also very racist, but that's another story.

I'm not trying to flip anything. I'm saying we can socially condition general evo-psych behaviors out of the population. We've seen this done in men. Pre-sexual revolution, a slut was gross to men. My ex-bro-in-law's wife met him this way. She walked up and said, "nice boots. Wanna fuck?"

This is a such a dumb take. The social consequences for men showing emotion is so extremely high that most men learn early on to shut that shit down. I know I have. And you can't just flip a switch and be like, "oh, ok, I guess I've now learned to healthily express my emotions!" Yeah, it's easy from your privileged woman perspective to say "just do it! who cares?"

My wife cries at shit like this all the time. Most women I know do.

Naw. I'm sure she was caught off guard and couldn't think fast enough to react and just went with it for a few seconds.

Regulating is different than showing emotions. And there's a fine line between the two. Yes, nobody wants to be around someone like Brendan Frazier in Bedazzled when he cries multiple times over the beauty of the sunset.

The Scrubs episode where Brendan Frazier died, I watched that on the plane and fucking ugly cried. It was embarrassing. I also ugly cried when Laverne died. That show is a master class in humor with gut wrenching trauma.

Not the gotcha you think it is. Men are currently forced to care for children they never wanted, so yes, men are forced to pay, which puts them directly under their care by the law. Not by their choice. If feminists cared one god damned bit about equality, they'd make women take accountability for having children when the man has no desire or intention of providing for them. But, that kind of accountability would hurt women and force them to make a hard decision, and we all know feminists see wo…

Here, let me mansplain it to you. There's a new thing on the Classic Vanilla servers where you are only given ONE life. That's it! If you die, you delete your character and start over. Doesn't matter how. You also can't trade with anyone or use the auction house. You can only use what you can buy or obtain through questing. Although, to be fair, level cap is 60 on Vanilla, so level 79 doesn't work. It'd be level 59.

Is this one of those "anybody can do anything they want" gotchas? Yeah, sure, nobody has a gun to his head and physically stopping him from feeling emotions. But society punishes it so heavily that a lot of men have learned to never show their emotions. Women, for some strange reason, love to gaslight the shit out of men and claim THEY love it when their man is emotional. It doesn't take very much prodding to get to the core of "well... of course if he cried about dumb things, I'd be grossed out…

I'll reply my reply here too: That's unregulated emotions, which is different. Showing an emotion when your team loses the game is fine. Carrying that for days is a problem.

It's the misogyny, obviously.

Why did they SHE have kids? Good question. Why did she if she couldn't take care of them? So they have the kids in this squalor or does the mother? Squalor is better than homeless. In your view, the man should be homeless as long as the mother and kids have a house? So the government should help the able bodied man with zero children under his care. Sure. The gov helps able bodied women all the fucking time. And paying for a child makes it directly under your care.

Single mother is different than divorced mother. Single mothers chose to have a baby, knowing damn well the father wasn't going to be in the picture. As far as financially, if a woman can't afford her children, she is given government subsidies. If a man can't afford his child support, he's sent to jail. Most of these deadbeat dad's are blue collar guys living in squalor pay check to paycheck. They'd be homeless if they paid the state mandated child support. Why can't the government help these g…

I have such a hard time understanding this tbh. My current bf cried twice in front of me while we were dating and it make me like him more. He got emotional over wanting to be a better father than his dad was and once when I was traveling and he cried while saying goodbye. Both were attractive to me and he’s gotten emotional plenty of times since we’ve been dating. Most notably when he told me he loved me for the first time and it just made my heart swell Women who put down guys for being emotio…

That being said, I’ve also gone out with a guy who got unreasonably upset over little things which was a turnoff so maybe I’m a hypocrite there See... this is EXACTLY what men are saying. As long as they are emotional about what women deem are acceptable things to be emotional over, then it's fine. But god forbid men ever get emotional over something that she thinks is "dumb". Then it's game over. Whenever women see men say this, they ALWAYS seem to go to "My guy cried when his mom died, and tha…

man attacking innocent woman on the street and you are the only one around: A man who does nothing is worthy of shame for not trying to help. Yeah, fuck that. Shame me all you want. At least I'll be alive to be shamed. A woman on the street being harassed has a very, very, very low chance of being seriously injured. A man intervening has a very high chance of serious injury.

Ah yes, any man that doesn't want to get murdered for intervening in a fight is a "coward". Why don't you just carry a bunch of white roses with you so you can shame men into protecting you.

And that's why it's so surprising. Women are constantly questioned about their lived experiences and know how it feels, so why question men about theirs?

https://np.reddit.com/r/AskFeminists/comments/10vt8tf/men_crying_in_front_of_women/j7kqaez/ I love it! We have hundreds, if not thousands of stories by men in all different subs detailing how often this happens. But.... it's REALLY the men's fault. They're just exaggerating it.

There was a post a couple of days ago where it showed a family that was raising the daughters to be good submissive wives to their husbands. It showed them picking up the dad's shoes and doing household chores. The comments were all aghast at how awful this was, but I couldn't help thinking how many times I've seen the gender flipped version of this teaching young men to open car doors and be a protector and all the shit we expect men to do for women. THOSE posts are filled with people praising …
