So your response to this man downplaying an issue this sub is raising is to… downplay it again? Is this supposed to convince me or something? Maybe you just want to be less likable than you already are

I believe in equal rights, not whatever this movement is

Apparently body positivity only goes one way

Yup… I’ve tried talking to my friends about this but they don’t seem to understand. I don’t even dare try to bring it up with my female friends

A small sample size doesn’t represent the rest of us. There are women rapist, pedophiles, murderers, liars, power abusers, etc… but I don’t think any one of us think that all women deserve to die

Omg I saw this too and was livid. How was this the TOP comment of the post?! On something that was r/popular… I how am I supposed to support a group that refuses to give us any shred of decency or empathy

Wow this is depressing to read. It’s like they don’t know they’re acting exactly like the people who they hate… people who make fun of Taylor swift

I appreciate your support! It takes a big person to change their opinion. Men are awesome, some aren’t but the vast majority are great, probably just like women. I just haven’t had the luxury to really encounter many amazing ones

Maybe they’re just miserable and need something to hate

I got banned from r/fauxmoi, but I think that subreddit just hates men

I was just about to post this too! I feel like this shit happens to both side but somehow one is normalized… I feel like teenage boys are getting bullied just as hard or feeling dehumanized solely for their race/gender

Yeah that doesn’t help our cause

Wow you described the feeling that I have so very well… I just feel invisible. Anytime I bring up issues involving myself, it just gets brushed aside. It sucks because eventually it wears me down and I don’t talk to anyone about it. Even my closest friends don’t share my sentiments despite being men themselves. I still view myself as a feminist… but I don’t think in the same sense as other feminists. All I want is to be treated equal, no one deserves special treatment and no one deserves to be i…

It also doesn’t help that dating apps don’t work for 90% of guys

Always like how it’s “molested” when a girl does it but raped the other way around. Let’s say the crime as it is, this bitch deserves prison for 40

Yeah this is tough, I think it can fall upon biology as a bunch of other species perform to court their mate, I’m sure humans do so too in a subconscious degree. I think some people are over the top and Hollywood makes it seem somewhat over the top though

Yeah it’s a little hard, on one hand i feel like people can always use certain arguments that empower men to disempower women. But I don’t think these are mutually exclusive.

I think ID verification is a slippery slope, I feel like if sex work was legal it would be way safer

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
