What pains me is not that people don't know. It's that you can google stuff like this in 2 min and people still don't do it. Voluntary ignorance is the worst kind of ignorance.

That is ONE kind of FGM. There are many others, such as removing part of the labia, be it inner and/or outer. I'd say cutting off a piece of skin from the female genitalia kind of reminds me of another kind of genital mutilation
