“Single moms forcing their exes to pay child support…” Are you fucking serious with this bullshit?

They fixate on the numbers because it’s less effort than being considerate of their partner/sex appliance’s experience.

Firstly, how the hell do you know how all these women are using the apps, let alone who they are sleeping with? Do you have a special crystal ball for sluts? You are just projecting your crap onto women and assuming they’d bang any guy that reciprocates interest, because that’s what you would do in their shoes, like most men. Secondly, if you think dating apps are representative of real life, you need to spend less time on the internet and go outdoors more. Most women don’t use them. Every stati…

Most (heterosexual) women want a partner who is more masculine then they are. If you’re a Marine then I imagine most of the women you work with are a bit less girly and have a more masculine energy then the typical woman, either by nature or out of necessity in order to be effective at work. Dumb caveman misogynist is a trope but it also heavily implies a very masculine man, whether or not the masculinity is toxic. Also, don’t take this the wrong way but you are 20 so I assume most of the co-wor…

It's pure strategy. The worse women feel about themselves the less they expect from their partners, and the more BS they will tolerate. They want the bar to stay in hell where they think it belongs. As for the effeminate men, I've seen a lot of RP closet cases so I assume it's a lot of projection.

That's not really needing someone, that's codependence. She's in for a hell of a life if she sticks to that thinking. Yikes.

Yeah I responded to the overall point and completely glossed over that interesting fact. Consider the context, OP. Stripclub (with daughter and her friends, wtf) Early 20's (generally the era of peak dumbassery) Drunk You should just hear white noise when the previous criteria is met and someone starts spouting off with their theories about anything, especially romance.

I think lots of men and women prefer someone who needs and wants them. Probably for the same reason that marriage is still, despite the odds, something a lot of people want (especially women). People's wants are fickle and ever-changing. If that's the only thing holding two people together it's only a matter of time before someone wants something else and bails. And then usually 6 months or so down the line they discover that they were wrong and now they want their original partner back again...

Women like masculinity. Sometimes (usually if they have some unaddressed issues), they won’t care if that masculinity is of the toxic variety. That’s all the “bad boy” appeal is.

This is conflated here a lot. Scumbags like that aren’t successful with women because they’re scumbags. They’re successful in spite of being scumbags because they’re masculine. Masculinity will trump most short comings, at least for a significant amount of women. I think men and women have both been led waaaaay astray in terms of relationships, socializing, values, etc. over the last few generations. We have all been undermined from several directions.

Honestly I think a lot of it is that it's reflective of a man that takes the easy way out. It makes the man appear less masculine.

The dumbest thing you've ever heard is adding a single and non-invasive additional test to the litany of tests (and paperwork) already done anytime a baby is born? You must be new here. Welcome. It's perfectly fine to not agree, but pretending it's just sooooooo unreasonable and ridiculous to consider paternity tests might be made standard procedure is disingenuous, particularly since all the reasons you listed were your own hypothetical concoctions. I admire how you are able to haul that wet bl…

Firstly, paternity tests should be mandatory every time a baby is born. Then this wouldn't be an issue and less families would be needlessly blown up over one partner's normally baseless insecurity. I don't know a single woman who could look at their partner the same way once they discovered that he thought so little of them. I agree wholeheartedly that duping a man, either intentionally or unintentionally, into raising another man's child does happen sometimes, and it is egregious and completel…

I see both men and women do this in about equal proportions. It's a problem societally, not just with one single gender. I also see both genders overvaluing shallow and vacuous traits at the expense of thing like character, shared values and interests, etc. It might show up differently in men than with women, but we all pretty much suck nowadays. The only logical conclusion to expect from the prevalence of OLD and social media was that people would start treating each other as disposable commodi…

You don’t even like women. That will be obvious to any woman you interact with. You also seem only interested in a friendship with a woman as a strategy to eventually have sex with her. This will also be obvious to any woman you interact with. Would you be interested in being friends with an angry misandrist that spends half her time complaining about the patriarchy or looking down on men? Or making “friends” with a woman who only spends time with you when she wants a favor? Wouldn’t you catch o…

Looks matter to everyone, especially in terms of getting a foot in the door. And I think in general "getting a foot in the door" is much harder for men. However, I don't think men fully appreciate that for lots of women attraction can significantly grow (and sometimes fade) as we get to know a man more. I mean it makes sense that most people out there, male or female, would be sort of "meh" in the looks department.

Feeling desired by anyone generally provides some sort of validation, to varying degrees. That’s a completely different matter than actually hooking up with a younger guy. I would never date anyone my age or younger, and when I see women with visibly younger partners I feel second hand embarrassment. You are really projecting a lot, and not really understanding how women think and feel.

I used to have an administration job working with nothing but cops and firefighters. Most of them were the most stand up guys you could find, but if you get unlucky and wind up with one of the scumbags they take it to a level that would make civilian scumbags weep. It’s kind of weird.

I would suggest just picking out something that she’s wearing, even if it’s not particularly eye-catching. It speaks to her style, something that’s more indicative of her taste, character or personality. A compliment I’ve gotten from a man that I’ve really appreciated before is, “Hey I really like that top. It brings out the color of your eyes.” Doesn’t matter if it’s bullshit, in my opinion. Unless it’s delivered in a particularly creepy manner, like staring at her cleavage the entire time, or …

I would be generally turned off by men who have lots of casual hook ups, but particularly if he did it just because he thought he "should". It just sort of feels weak. However, I've dated guys that did the whole "wild oats" thing in their younger years because they were horny and dumb but with age they grew to regret some of that behavior, and I actually didn't mind it. I sort of respected it in a way because 1) there are way too many people out there (both men and women) who for whatever reason…

Maybe she just didn’t vibe with your personality. Or maybe she realized by the end of your encounter that she’s still hung up on an ex, or a lesbian, or in desperate need of going on safari in Kenya next week. Who the fuck knows. It’s also highly likely that she got a whiff of the fact that you clearly don’t even like or respect women.

He wasn’t trying to get a girlfriend that’s the entire point. If you walk around and only interact with the world when there’s something in it for YOU, the world can tell. Your philosophy is the philosophy of Only Fans, but good luck with that.

The reason it’s attractive is because he wasn’t looking to GET anything. If you treat every interaction with a woman as transactional you will be repellent. To your intended target and any woman who happens to be watching.

No it isn’t, but cold approaching only works if you do it well. If you’re too bothered by the thought of getting rejected as you develop that skill, then stick to other tactics.

This is a fair criticism. When I people watch or go out with friends I often see women sending out signals to men that are way way too subtle and they get missed, then they immediately get embarrassed or huffy and give up. I think a couple generations back people were much better at sending and receiving non-verbal cues because the only socialization available was in person. They were probably much more resilient as a result, too. One time I was in a mall making my way to the parking lot and a g…

Do not waste your time, or anyone else's (bad karma) if you don't see a future with them. Accept fundamental incompatibilities at face value and move on, even if you're in love. People have a right to want or not want marriage, kids, monogamy, a particular religion, etc. Train yourself to value character more than superficialities, both in yourself and in others (we are hardwired for the shallow stuff, but it won't make for a happy life in the long term). Complacency and comparison are recipes f…

Start taking classes in a foreign language. I've learned several secondary languages as an adult and almost all of my classes were +80% women. Plus the teachers force you to have many (jilted and clumsy) practice conversations in the target language, so any awkwardness can be accounted for as part of the learning process.

Off the top of my head: They are entitled about sex, and pushy and intrusive about introducing a sexual element to the conversation as soon as possible without any attempt to build rapport. Usually this is repellant to women, not just because it's fucking rude and presumptuous as hell, but it speaks to an instant gratification mindset. I associate instant gratification with an adolescent mentality. An adolescent instant gratification-based dopamine-seeking mentality is the polar opposite of a bi…

The more time anyone, regardless of gender, spends on social media, the less committed they are, and the more likely they are to cheat. Just about everyone is overestimating what they bring to the table, and what they can lock down on the dating market. People have gotten way fucking weirder and WAY more socially inept in the last 15 years. It's obvious when a man has a bad porn habit. Porn aura = red flag.

I really like Qoves. One reason is because they discuss not only the actual physical architecture of attractiveness, but they also explore a lot of the many studies that explore things like pretty privilege and appearance-based biases. I could see how there would be some red pill overlap in that respect, because attractiveness is one of the biggest indicators of success in many areas of life (unfortunately), not just dating, and as such the channel isn't shy about encouraging the maximization of…
