Seamstress here! It's supposed to be about 30-32" at the smallest part of your waist and 36-38" at the widest part of your hips. Length varies in department stores depending on if its labeled short, regular, or long. That said, there is a LOT of variation from store to store. Some stores I can get into a size 8-10 no problem, others it's a tight fit to a size 12-14. American sizes are stupidly general and dont cater to women with curves at all. I dont think American producers really know either,…

STATUS SYMBOL: a possession that is taken to indicate a person's wealth or high social or professional status. Nowhere in the definition does it say it is meant to impress anyone, a status symbol simply signifies where you are in life. She has a high professional status and wants to be addressed as such. Not trying to impress him, just sharing the fun fact that her status is more than being married or single! He wanted to know, right? IMPRESS: to make someone feel respect AND admiration. I guara…

Didn't put words in your mouth, directly quoted you for the most part, but ok lol. I mean, I can show you exactly what you said and what I quoted if you'd like, but I wouldn't want to assume you don't have basic reading comprehension and can't figure it out for yourself ;) I... I really don't know how to translate your last paragraph, half of it is gibberish. Its 4:30am here though, maybe you are up late/early too and are just tired! But I'd agree that any hope of an intelligent conversation is …

I'm just trying to understand how making a sign that basically communicates "you are more than a relationship status" based off of a real interaction in her life makes her immature and desperate... Genuinely confused at that line of logic. You talk about giving this guy the benefit of the doubt, but you are making this poor girl out to be a cynical, bitter, desperate, immature b*tch, and over what? Her sign for a women's march using her real-life example of being boxed into a definition that she…

It's not about impressing him, it's about being in a place that's not necessarily expected or the set status quo, just remindeing him that there is another option in a womans life than just being "married or single". I really dont get the sense she was trying to impress him, just trying to get him to fuck off lmao. I even ran it by my husband to get another guy's opinion (bc god knows I could be wrong), but he saw no problem with it either... To each his own interpretation I suppose!

As a girl who has dealt with exes who bring up the question "ms or mrs" in the plethora of forms it comes in, only then to be asked out for a drink when I answered ms, I can tell you it's not "creepy" to assume an ex asking invasive questions wants to bang... Look, guy (and tbh girl) exes can be creepy af, especially if we can tell they are fishing for a relationship status, so yeah it feels good to shut em down with a smartass reply. Sorry not sorry. Again though, we dont know the context of he…

Why do you think she was trying to impress him? I more got the sense that she was telling him to fuck off, just about as subtly as he was trying to get the low down on her relationship status. I also dont see how responding to a blunt and kinda rude question with an equally blunt answer makes her insecure. Shes telling him her title, just like he asked ;)

She was attending a women's march... she made the sign not to flex on her ex per say, but rather to make a point that she is more than her marital status. Can you imagine running into your ex, trying to catch up, and just being bluntly asked "Sooo, miss or mrs?" Idk, it just seems like a rude way of asking "so are you seeing anyone right now, married, single?" It also seems like a sad fishing attempt to see if she is available to bang. Part of it is we dont know the context. If I got out of a to…
