Statistics are not a “take.” They use their food stamps to buy poison that our government is then paid for feeding them and they have access to healthy options on food stamps but they choose junk anyways so it is their poor choices. Healthy food isn’t expensive I have been to a grocery store and I know what things cost as I budget for a family of 3 and making healthy choices is always cheaper rice and beans are nutritionally dense and filling and they are cheaper than anything else you could pos…

SNAP participants tend to have higher average BMI and obesity rates. Acting like these people are starving is pretty ridiculous.

>Why do women get so much more leeway in terms of being insecure/jealous in dating/ relationships? I don’t enjoy being around emotional people, or being randomly trauma dumped. I’m an even tempered person and I prefer living with other even tempered people. Obviously I anticipate there will be temporary struggles, moments of jealousy or insecurity. I want instability to be rare at home. >likes another woman’s Instagram picture or follows another woman (even if its a celebrity Yes this is unaccep…

“You got the car re-possessed” “Yeah that was like two months ago” holy shit lol doesnt sound like he’s going to change. He acts like the passage of time makes his fuck ups less relevant lmao. I don’t agree with the other posters of jumping to conclusions but I do think the clip favors her decision more than not. A lot of churches offer free or low cost child care. People at church share baby clothes, and other materials that mothers actually need. A lot of low income people choose church child care because it is more affordable.. It is actually people like you who don’t give a shit about others. multiple studies show religious people and conservatives donate more time and money than secular people and progressives even when controlling for income. https://www.hoover.org/research/religious-faith-and-char…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/26 10:47 AM

No, I’d actually consider that a green flag. The only person I’ve ever met like that is my husband. It’s only a red flag if they never show any humility because even when good people are right they don’t try to make others feel bad about it.

I mostly dated within my friend group. I did not have remarkable experiences with online dating because a lot of men are not who I want but that isn’t something you immediately know. Also the men I liked didn’t need apps so they were not on them so my app use was brief. I tended to be attracted to the same men that many other women liked because they usually had great personalities, were funny, outgoing, and attractive. screening was simple: Were they willing to be my friend or have other friend…

Idk about “naughtier” but my husband and I have had conversations that naturally happened due to being together almost a decade.. I don’t feel insecure about any of it and neither does he, both of us are comfortable initiating the conversation.. I don’t see what we’d learn that would diminish what we have. He has also specifically asked me things like how many men I had slept with and I asked after he brought it up.

I can’t disagree with that but I believe the left may have ruined more fields of science by making them increasingly ideological where conclusions are moral imperatives rather than hypothesis to be tested. I’ve seen similar tendencies in “gender studies,” education, medicine and psychology just to name a few more.

Well, I suppose an amusing critique would be that I don’t believe feminism has any academic integrity after the concerns raised by the grievance studies affairs. As for which would be more “correct” I believe TRP and feminism produce mirror outcomes with one side pumping out misogyny and the other misandry (except the increase in misandry in young women exceeds the misogyny increase in young men by a lot). I feel like I am watching the two rival cults argue about whose brain washing is more virt…

100% who he is.. What he does for me is nice but opening jars has never made me more attracted to someone I consider that the bare minimum. He’d have to do something extra like flip a car over to be more attractive but everything else would be looks/personality related.

I also buy men’s clothing for similar reasons: more fair pricing and better quality. But I disagree that this is “sexism” because prices are driven by consumer behaviors. Of course a business will seek to maximize their profits.. consumers have to be willing to walk away from products.

I don’t prefer an egalitarian relationship but if it was necessary I wouldn’t love him less. There is no way I’d ever spend 5 times as much on a person unless I made a lot more money than them. The kind of man you’re describing is incredibly unattractive especially leeching and the makeup.. It’s funny cause my husband does cosplays and even he doesn’t wear make up.

I was living in an apartment complex filled with college students. There was a group of lesbians who regularly smoked outside the building and would always try to talk to me when I walked by. At first I was polite but it became obvious they were hitting on me so I started keeping the conversations short. One day they noticed I was locked out and trying to climb through my apartment window. Instead of offering help as I was trying to unlocked my screen and remove it. they walked up the stairs to …

I find lesbians to be much creepier than men. If a man harasses me at a bar (which has happened) I can report him to the staff and have him removed or I can shame them away. But when I’ve experienced harassment from lesbians people have consistently treated it like a joke, even I was uncomfortable enough to change my usual walking paths to avoid them. their behavior is much more overt because they know there wouldn’t be any consequences. However I don’t necessarily feel unsafe with women because…

I rarely enjoy the company other women due to the amount of gossiping and mean girl behaviors. I would not say all female friend groups are that way but definitely the majority are unpleasant due to the drama, in my experience.

Ill make sure to tell every protestant that theyre engaging in "cafeteria christianity" I wish you would. You cannot accept the existence of the Divine and think an entity made by Man perfectly represent said Divine. There’s plenty of disagreement in the scientific community but that doesn’t mean there is no objective truth.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 02:51 AM

The word you’re looking for is syncretism or “cafeteria Christianity” and no that doesn’t make the resulting belief Christian. There is only one way to follow god and you don’t get to just throw out the teachings you don’t like and make it into his kingdom. You can’t conform god to your preferences.

I’ve worked with women who were abusive there’s a lot of reasons. Anger, mental illness, trauma but a lot of them genuinely believed they were as strong as or stronger than men.. I had to tell them that men are much stronger physically and that if they didn’t stop putting their hands on people they may eventually do it to the wrong person and get hurt.

I’m confused by this post. Men who liked me put effort into building a friendship it wasnt love bombing and if they had done that I would have been weirded out and avoided them… it was just “natural” hangouts except there was more effort on their part. It really depends on the woman so yes I do think you view is partially off, some are extroverted some introverted. It could be possible, but it is not something I do outside of group settings either. Usually my husband would be there and they’d be mutual friends. I do agree it is risky one on one and I am not saying that cause I’d do anything but I have never been in a situation where a guy friend didn’t eventually try to shoot their shot. I would feel uncomfortable
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 01:51 AM

I’m skeptical when women claim stuff like that because irl my friends who are single are on antidepressants and complain about loneliness and they say things like that.. I would believe a woman who had de-centered men enough they stopped shaving or doing make up that “just so happens” to enhance features men find attractive, rather than choosing something less conventionally appealing like bold goth makeup. It’s because I am a conspiracy theorist. I’ve highly skeptical about a lot of foods available at the store in America including meat, eggs and dairy. So I don’t eat any of that. I would only eat wheat breads and pastas if I could grow my own and process it myself but that requires more land space than I have.

My parents have been married for 34 years and still love each other. They have different hobbies and friend groups, which works for them. it’s a different dynamic than my marriage. My husband and I have overlapping hobbies and a lot mutual friends. So I don’t/didnt want their dynamic. That said, their marriage wasn’t entirely happy. My mother struggled with cancer and mental health issues and my father was our primary caregiver. Despite everything, I imagine they have a typical marriage.

I had some experience with an abusive man. I didn’t date him I’m related to him by marriage only, he started out kind and slowly he began nitpicking me at family gatherings. Maybe I didn’t use the best word to describe something so he would unnecessarily correct me. Obviously I thought this was weird but I let it go because I didn’t want to cause drama in our family. Slowly our interactions escalated into verbal abuse. He insulted my body when I was pregnant, and lastly, what I couldn’t ignore, …

Almost daily, USA. but I have a very atypical diet for an American. I live off Indian curries, African/Persian stews and Mexican food. I do not like American styled food and I do not eat wheat breads and pasta because they are a nutritional disaster so that is pretty much how I get my carbs.

Yes, but it’s not really about a fixed number (though I question motives from men who have body counts 8+ or who are single later in life) it’s more about how they approach relationships. If someone’s a casual dater I’d probably avoid them because I’ve always seen that as them not valuing woman outside of sex. In my example there were months she was barely making enough to get by. Like she isn’t a person who is saving for retirement or the future or can afford a down payment on a house. Very few sex workers make the kind of money you’re describing.

Its feels probable there is some sort of misunderstanding. It’s also very likely most porn stars have done something they had 0 desire to do because it is tethered to their livelihood and they have a large audience which adds onto the psychological pressure. In between two people who love and trust each other where there is no financial gain this is less likely. Sex workers know they will lose money if their customers believe they have 0 desire for those acts.

Were they saying there’s no real pleasure once the camera is on or were they pointing out how easy it is to become performative for money in front of an audience? I had a friend who prostituted herself and there were times she did it for discretionary spending and times to meet essential bills. She has absolutely done things she has 0 desire to do but did anyway because it is tethered to her livelihood.

It isn’t always about control. I seriously wonder what your motives are for trying to paint men in a bad light who understand child birth and care are a full time job.. Your perspective comes from not understanding what raising children is like especially today when daycare is often times an entire salary if not more.. If I worked outside the home, the chores would still need to be done after both of us got off work. It is much less stressful for both of us if they get handled during the day so …

I was considered a weird kid because I wore punky outfits, a lot of black and was antisocial. I do not trust other antisocial people. I am a SAHM. Travel depends on the kids ages. We don’t plan to travel until our daughter is 1.5 especially not internationally any time soon. Maybe 1–2 trips a year within the country. We also rarely eat out since I prefer making food at home to our taste. Most of our “dating” is pretty simple: walks at the park with friends, picnicking, church events, gaming at home, gym, and volunteering. I want to spend time together daily if possible. Hatred in general is wrong and no I do not think it is justified. Hatred implies you wish malice on someone. i hope you mean “dislike” or that you are angry with women, anger can absolutely be justified by your personal experiences. A 2025 academic survey found ~22.6% agreed the 19th Amendment should be repealed (28% of men, 18% of women). It isn’t just men and it isn’t because of what women decide to find attractive. People have become aware of the arguments the anti-suffragettes used which are being recycled. Probably a response to feminism going too far. Also I would consider the internet a safe space it’s just not an echo chamber which there are plenty of those on reddit.

I was not open to certain sex acts initially but there is an intelligence gap between my husband and my ex. My husband had more creative solutions to address my concerns regarding kinkier sex acts which made me more comfortable trying them. It wasn’t a tiered rewards situation…

No. I was raised pretty religiously and any sexual activity was considered a sin including pre-marital masturbation. So I was 100% celibate until I was 21 and in a LTR that was heading towards marriage and nothing would have changed that outcome. Even after that I met my husband at 23 and only had sex in relationships.

I’ve noticed that on Reddit especially many women in feminist leaning spaces respond to criticisms of feminism with gaslighting, denial, or deflection. They often seem familiar with the major critiques and try to act as if the ideology is beyond challenge. They are probably concerned about the decreased enthusiasm women have towards feminism due to the damage it has now caused between men and women. Their ideology is cooked and they are scared lol Also your question is kinda hilarious without me…

It’s 100% laziness and entitlement. My parents are DIYers we make our own ice cream, sauerkraut, bread, and baked goods. I do all that plus make my own cheeses, nut milks ect, grow crops, and handle all the yard and housework myself with a nearly 5 month old preemie. I don’t work though. But I still have time for leisure. People here think spending 5-10 minutes loading a bread maker is unreasonable.

you can't do it in front of kids... Idk what to tell you my daughter sleeps in the same room as us if you don’t tip toe around your baby while they sleep they learn to sleep through anything. If she wakes up we just do it quicker. A lot of parents do this.. When she gets older she will have her own room and we will just lock the door.

I’m sure this is just fuel for the gender wars or maybe you just don’t have kids but you can have multiple priorities at once… We probably prioritize our daughter but when she closes her eyes at 7pm we have plenty of time for sex or quality time.
