I guess I don’t understand the point you are trying to make. So your claim is that fewer men are in relationships as a whole, what exactly is the issue? I’m not trying to be on the offense I just think my whole point was geared towards something you weren’t meaning

That doesn’t mathematically add up. If we are talking about straight woman, if they are in a relationship, then there is a man they are in the relationship with. 1-1, so it has to be an equal number of both men and women. It’s the same as when people argue women get laid more than men. If a straight woman got laid, a straight man just got laid as well. Unless they think women are having sex with or in relationships with thin air

And that’s why power imbalances terrify me. I believe 100% of the time that power always comes with corruption. They can get whatever they want… just reading that made my stomach sink. I would rather be single, it’s so much more peaceful and fulfilling that being the ‘less powerful’ one. Too risky for all facets of my well being. I would rather die alone than need someone in order to make it through life
